Awesome tournament. I really enjoyed myself. I wish I could have stayed for the rest but some of my guys and I had work and school to attend. Got home at 4, went to sleep at about 4:30 and then had to wake up at 7 to get ready for class. Fun times indeed.

Obviously my memory is going as I grow older… I cannot remember who to thank for the stream, but THANK YOU. I had been spoiled with quake tournaments having live feeds as the norm, and really being in the dark on sf tournies until the day after. This was huge! This really is a must for big events like this. Is it possible to do direct feed streaming? If so, evo really needs to get this going.

First I will have to thank sweet johnny cage for all his work. I was trying my best to help run the tournaments as well as take down registration and all that stuff. John was very understanding of me also playing in 2 very important tournys. But he certainly did all the hard work. It wasnt easy to split my time between playing and running things but we got it done. Thanks john, much love brotha.

Good shit to those who won. Congrats to Marn, LI Joe, Gootecks (being clutchtecks with that Balrog), Mike Ross (repping that Honda!), Arturo, etc. for delivering the hype that is called East Coast Throwdown. Props to those who did the stream and to Bunkei for the radio. It was even entertaining just being in #ect and seeing everyone’s reactions. I wish Hawaii’s scene was big as the East Coast or West Coast. Just seeing these types of tournaments inspires and hypes me to try and get better.
EVO is going to be too hype. I wish I could be there. Hell I just might go just to experience EVO itself.
