I think a lot of MVC2 fans tend to over-exaggerate the supposed versatility of Magneto, Storm, and Sentinel.

The reason that they were so “versatile” was because they were just more complete characters than everyone else on the roster.

You realize that’s the contextual definition of “versatility”, right? XD It might be a lot of fun to play Dhalsim or Ruby Heart or Charlie, but while they might be deep they aren’t versatile enough to make a tournament impact.
