I get that. I was mainly being facetious but also being serious. A lot of the time their exclusives aren’t actually exclusives as they end up being released in steam at the same time or a later date.
I especially doubt they’ll be exclusives this time around as well since they’re going to be releasing a shit ton of content on Steam via GamePass

Fair. I haven’t really followed the series since the second one. I thought the series was an amazingly cool concept but it just made me want to play every game it was taking ideas from.
Maybe I’ll go back and play the series through again. My gaming opinions have changed A LOT since then.

I would never say they are very original, shit DSIII takes a ton of ideas from the Souls book of game design.
What I would say tho is they mostly pull off those ideas well. I don’t mind “stolen” ideas as long as they are pulled off well and the Darkaiders series has managed to do it well…most of the time. Not always, but most of the time. The originality for the series comes though in the artwork and the story/narrative/lore.

Apparently when I was 3, I tried to feed the VCR cookies. My sister shoved a PB and J sandwitch into the VCR when she was like 2 or 3. Good thing optical discs was really around when I was little.

That Digimon survive mini-doc was super cool. I love how it was the fans all around the world telling Bandai “hey. We want Digimon! Please start releasing more games outside of Japan please!”. Also didn’t realize Cyber Sleuth sold that many copies. That’s pretty cool and very telling that Digimon as an IP is still alive and well.
Survive looks super cool. I love the art style. I was hoping for a release date tho.

Any chance you think they’ll unlock some SNES games on Switch as part of NSO? It’d be one hell of an incentive to pay for the service, if you could play SNES games.
That is the hope but Nintendo is crafty they know a large amount of fandom grew up with the SNES or Super Famicom and would love to get those classics on the go. I still worry they are holding it back and want to swing through this generation only using the NES library to save cash or effort.
They were promised.
