Are the any good Switch bundles that include SMM2?

Not at the moment, no. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one of Nintendo’s holiday bundles this year tho.

Easy Allies Shenmue 3 impressions

57:54 if timestamp didn’t work

TL;DW

Summary
  1. Newer build than IGN Japan Gameplay

  2. Different GUI. Invetory UI given as an example.

  3. Played on PC with Xbox One controller/Xbox button prompts. (iGN Japan Gameplay is PS4 build with PlayStation button prompts)

  4. Feels like Shenmue.

  5. Swears/promises that while the trailers look janky, the build he played looked and played great. Ian Hink backs him up. “As a huge doubter in Shenmue 3, its looks charming but good”

  6. B-Roll footage is of an older console build of the game. IGN/Gamespot uses this footage. People who played at E3 played on PC, and the game had music enabled. The B-Roll is old PS4 footage with music disabled with some differences in GUI and graphics.

  7. Enviroments looked "very good’

  8. Contruction Capsule Toys

  9. Exploration gameplay feels good, smoother than Shenmue 1 and 2.

  10. 15 minute demo, the goal is to find a bookie with a scar on their face.

  11. Can walk into and explore peoples homes and pick up items and examine them. Example given is he saw a women cooking in her home and there is food everywhere. Game is extremely detailed.

  12. Lucky Hit!

  13. Turtle racing is hard! Gameplay feels similar to mario party mini games. You have to button mash like crazy.

  14. The bookie with a scar on his face has a good side, and helped the guy who runs the turtle racing mini game build the diorama.

  15. Fighting feels rough. Much more simplified than Shenmue 1 & 2.

@sonichuman Yeah. Cadence of Hyrule being $25 is a little silly to me. Though The Crypt of Necrodancer is normally $20. However it’s onsale during E3 week for $4. Which is much more appealing and manageable.

Price seems high but almost everything about it seems a big improvement over the original. The music (imo) is amazing and more catching then the original, the sprites are all new and way bigger, they animate more and actually have attack animations, detail is way higher then before.

5 dollars more for what looks 3x the quality doesn’t sound very greedy to me. Crypt of the Necrodancer is $4 because it’s 4 years old already.

A member of Guerilla games has died

Also hearing that stockholders are mad that Animal Crossing is getting delayed and Nintendo’s stock dropped. SMDH

No, they said it wasn’t gonna be the end like the day after the kickstar was announced. We’ve known for years lol.

I get your drift tho.

Dell gaming laptop. LOL is my first response.

Dell is one of the worst manufacturers for computers if you go by Text book designs and by feedback from anyone that has to do Laptop Repair. I know so many IT professionals that hate everything about Dell.
My PC Repair text book from college has a whole chapter on just Dell and everything wrong with it.

I see nothing in that Dell/ Namco-Bandai video that isn’t straight up laughable.

A Dedicated “Gaming setting” Function key, are you fucking serious?
There should be no reason to have a Gaming Key, button or Switch on a Gaming Laptop.
On most Laptops this is automatic.

Actually I did not know that they said this wasn’t goind to be the end. I didn’t know Yu had mentioned that in the beginning so I thought this was supposed to end the saga

Tried out Dauntless on PS4. Amazingly, it let me carry over my beta character from PC. Sadly, combat still feels not as smooth as Monster Hunter World. Most notably, dodging feels weird. Like, stuff you try to dodge ends up still hitting you for some reason - either their iframes are jank, or there’s some sort of delay when dodging.

What feels jank about them? Inconistant feeling window, or placed in the wrong spot?

Oh no, don’t get me wrong; I agree with you 100%. I’m just bitchy about the price cause I’m broke right now. Lol

Feels to me like it’s a combination of the iframes being out of place, and the fact that they don’t seem to come out as soon as you want them to. Like, trying to dodge like in Monster Hunter or Dark Souls, can get you hit. So either the game has input delay on top of network delay, or they’re just designed wrong.
