Sooo people went to the FFVII concert and it turns out that the people playing the instruments didn’t even play the songs for most of the concert. Instead most of the concert they played midi files
WHO thought it would be cool to play ANY type of midi files at a concert that people paid for?

Alright, so I finally caught up with all the shit that happened while I was asleep (also some thoughts on MS stuff)
Microsoft’s conference was clean, but a bit sad Spencer’s tweet about 14 “xbox game studios” titles basically didn’t result in ahything big. Halo Infinite, Gears 5 and Bleeding Edge stuff was cool, but the rest was either existing games or shit like Gears Pop (notice how there wasn’t ANYTHING on Gears tactics?)
Other than that, not too much talking and almost non stop game content. I really wish they’d drop the WORLD PREMIERE moniker already, shit’s cheesy
Bethesda’s showcase actually wasn’t that bad. Sucks the “leak” about Fallout 3 remaster for current gen turned out to be fake, but at least we got Deathloop and Ghostwire out of the conference. Both of those titles I’m excited for now. More DOOM is always good, Wolfenstein’s trailer also looked excellent. I hope Machine Games took serious consideration in terms of balancing the campaign for solo vs coop play, and that it doesn’t swing towards the latter.
Todd coming out and saying “yeah we kinda fucked up” was surprising. Still hell of a liar tho. Everything else was meh. Commander Keen is some garbage mobile game (microtransations, ho!), TES Blades is trash, TES Legends and TES Online are getting new stuff, I guess.
Sadly Dishonored, Pray and Evil Within will take a backseat for now, and of course at best we might see something for Starfield and TES 6 next year.
Devolver, though… My god. I wanna know who’s their writer because they keep coming out with hilarious shit year after year, and dare I say I’m actually intrigued by the story they got going on. Last year we’ve had a Robocop crossover, now we’re going full-on Terminator mode? Hell yeah.
Outside of that, The Messenger is getting a FREE DLC, which is awesome, and Carrion looked legitimately awesome, how often do you get to play as the killing-everything-on-your-way monster like that?
FF7 remake actually got a release date, which is insane. We’re really just 9 months away from playing it? Hopefully Square drops a demo tonight as well, EVERYBODY is dying to play the damn thing
