Actually, there are quite a few signs that this might be coming here. The fact that it’s being released on 360 and the international press conference seem to point to an international release. Hokuto is actually licensed for US consumption again, which it wasn’t when the ASW fighter came out. Besides, DW: Gundam contained characters and suits from Turn A, which is still unlicensed in the US. I think it might happen.

LOL even so. DW games aren’t that great IMHO and if it’s not imported you won’t be able to read jack. There’s nothing you have to read in fighters, hell the menus are in English.
I’m just doubtful about any HNK coming over here. It has zero point zero popularity over here aside from an underground / cult following. The TV anime tried to come out here, got cancelled AFTER ONE SEASON. The manga has tried to come here THREE TIMES and got canned THREE TIMES. Don’t ask me why. People like the first anime movie and it’s hard to get them to try to dig anything else. HNK is better than Bleach, DBZ, Naruto or whatever else people are reading Stateside.
DW Gundam had Gundam Wing. Americans LOVE Gundam Wing. The rest of it, not really. 00 seems to be doing well, considering. That plus DW floated it by. Not sure if that would work for HNK.
I’d say watch any and all of the anime related to HNK, all of it is fire. And call it 3 days without sleep because 72 hours is enough to watch all of it, give or take a day. :clown: Don’t sleep on Souten No Ken. Even the Raoh anime is dope, and available in English. Please everyone go buy it, all 13 eps are included in one purchase. :nunchuck:

will get. ai looks retarded. but its hnk and i gotta have. looks straight enough for me. hopefully they can do something about that ai, and if not, just give us a TON of move sets, and boss battles, with a lot of good unlockables, and im straight. maybe even go into when ken went to that island and faced off with them other dudes.
i wanna see a raoh fight, a toki fight (like when they fought for like 2 seconds to test ken), shin fight, big guy that can turn metal fight, shin fight, souther fight, every fight. so yeah, if there wont be a lot to come from it ai wise, then just cram as much hnk in it as you can, with mad stupid unlockable content, crazy stupid combos and moves, and no one will give a fuck about pounding on stupid ai all day.
Don’t get me wrong. If it does come here I will buy it most def to support HNK. Just have my doubts it will is all. Most HNK games don’t come out in the US and there are times when the license is held by 3 or so different US companies to further complicate things.
I hope I’m wrong even if I’m not a big fan of DW games. Arrange mode in DW Gundam was alright I guess, at least it had the original Japanese voice actors and I didn’t have to bother listening to dubs…

Same here. Even though Brad Swaile (Amuro, Quatre, Setsuna) is one of the few dubbers I really like. I’m just scared of what everyone else sounds like. :wasted:

Shin got some top tier Gen fu going on.
Game looks tedious, other than the cool interaction with the background (which has no effect on the gameplay) its all rather underwelming even the hundered crack fist looks rather disappoint (maybe its better with the sound effects). I hate the camera angle, Shin seems tiny and completely disappears when stood infront of Ken.
Agreed. Swaile is actually the first person I think of when I think of Amuro. Haven’t seen enough of 00 dubbed to judge his Setsuna though.
Fist of the North Star is my absolute fave series(it’s where I got my screen name from), and so far this game is looking good. Looks a bit repetitive, hopefully there will be variety in terms of Kenshiro combos and hopefully he’ll have more of the techniques he uses in the series.

Wouldn’t know. Watched all of G Fighter in Japanese. LOL I can’t even imagine what the final attack in the show sounds like in straight up English. If I hear two American people screaming “LOVE LOVE…” I think I will go insane. Maybe I’ll switch the last ep to English on the DVD for kicks. McNeil and Pettitt are good though.
