Also, does anyone know where I can find something to convert the videos that DFO records into a useful filetype? I want to record stuff but fraps KILLS my computer and I can’t figure out how to convert their crazy filetype the in-game recorder outputs to.

I’m trying to get into this… I either want to be a Priest or a Mage to become a Crusader or a Witch respectively… Am I taking the wrong ugly path? Cause I’m tryin’ to PVP to bust some niggas.
Crusader is not strong in PvP. Witch, on the other hand, has lots of good options and some pretty cool combos (sweap the floor is hilarious)

i have a fighter level 12 just like the one in the video but i can’t do the same combos i don’t think. if you watch that video, a common combo that player will do is normal attack x4, then it looks like he cancels into muse uppercut? but he’s level 12 in the video and uppercut cancel isn’t obtained until level 15. what am i not understanding?
its the first combo the player does when entering the second room. at the beginning of the video
Yea that guy is definitely using cancels because of the shadows on the hammer kick and muse uppercut. I think because it’s kdnf (or is it Arad). They get some skills for free and some stuff is different, so that would be my guess.
@marn some crusaders can can smash some faces in but you get a lot of your stuff later. So it would be a pain to level up if your a straight up battle crusader by yourself. Witches are pretty good in the within the current level ranges though (I don’t know how classes do when they raise level cap and give us the other acts) because they are generally fast and got nice combos. They can do some nasty stuff right now and they get good skills faster than some other classes.
edit: anyone find a Behemoth Shoulder of Shrewdness and Meditation or something like that? Somehow people are just not selling that stuff.
Generally, you shouldn’t try to PvP hardcore until you promote classes. You have better skills for your certain classes and all.

My Battle Mage is 26 now almost 27 chamber grind is much better than the level 24 one. Just starting to realize BM’s potential in pvp. Combos can get rediculous if you can land a hit. Im still getting whooped by gunners though primarily mechs. Add “Babuu” if anyones up for partying grinding.

witch is fun but keep in mind they are a low tier class but then again not awful whatsoever. I think battle mage and elementalist are much better for pvp. Avoid summoner for 1v1 pvp.
Wow epic fail on my part.
I ran Silver Night Kings by myself trying to do the quest and ran the thing halfway through to realize I forgot to start the quest from the girl. I also killed myself with a fortune coin, which is funny because I gave all mine away and just picked one up in the dungeon. At least I have 2 tokens left for the day.

witch is kinda gimmicky and a luck based class
Witches aren’t exactly low tier though. Low tier right now…something like Launcher/Monk/Asura. I think at high levels Brawlers are down there too.
On the flip side, Top tier is like Ranger/Mech/BM/Striker. Everyone else, you can get a good amount of mileage out of.
Witches are pretty well-rounded, and can be dangerous in the right hands. Plus they got JACKYYYYYY
