Vanaris is srs business.
He only regens if you do not kill his minions. So you have to hurry your ass up and kill everyone else in the room or else they will sacrifice themselves for him. That’s what makes soloing him hard. If anything once priest is out, he seems out to kill one person at a time, so that person should run distraction away from the boss so you can kill Vanaris. or you can gang up on the priest but since he has as much hp as the boss, so why bother.
Now that I think about it the most challenging fights are probably the most fun in this game. I actually like fighting in Bwanga camp or getting a party to fight in the temple (probably the hardest relative to level). But that doesn’t mean I think vest is fun because then that’s just super armor bs flying around.
edit: Any of you guys got a lvl 20 purple sword? I need something for my asura who I’m finally gonna level soon.

I thought I was sure it’s his buddies that sacrifice themselves for him to heal. I definitely remember stopping him from healing though.
My memory might be shady but I might as well check it out later today after 5 EST. So i might just hop in if anyone needs help on that quest. I need to confirm it for myself unless my mind is playing tricks on me.:xeye:
From what I understand, the methodology of defeating him before he has a chance to heal involves juggling him until he’s dead, before he gets a chance to summon anyone.
If you don’t mind CQC characters with some magic attacks, then totally go battle mage. It’s kinda like priests with a more loli feel! They have a lot of moves that you can combo. And with the chasers, you can attack and shoot surrounding enemies around you. So I can easily get like 100+ hit combos on a mob. It’s pretty awesome. My main’s a battle mage so, if you need some help then I won’t mind.
Just warning you, the battle mage advancement is gonna kill you. I’d advise getting hodor, the star shot thingy and the whip to help you with that quest. And TONS of pots.

Yep that worked wonders for me since at times one is able have all 10 slots full for a couple of dungeons in the begining of the game.

yea i’m really blaming comcast. My dad has Fios and I never lose connection. Yet AIM and MSN both randomly log out due to comcast’s “high speed connection”
Same with me as well. I’ve been trying to get my parents to switch over to FiOS, but they won’t listen. Even though it cost pretty much the same as Comcast, they still won’t change over to it. It boils my blood. Especially when AIM randomly logs me out.
I have the same problem with Comcast and a Linksys router. If I download something big (over 1 gig) there’s a good chance my router will go out in the middle of it and I have to reset the router… annoying as hell.
Well, it’s definitely cause of that lameass data cap they put on it. I noticed how much my downloads have slowed up towards the end of the month. Maybe cause I’m hitting their quota or some shit. Either way, it’s lame and it pisses me off.

The reasons I didnt get verizon FIOS is that im unsure if it is available in my area and second when I was trying to get a job the fuckers act like they didnt want to hire me but then I suddenly (after submitting my resume online) I get mail regarding getting dat FIOS :wow:
