It’s not that bad when you’re a high enough level. Lucky straight helps with wisps (not to mention all the other spirit types). And you just have to beat the ever-loving shit out of the zeppelins when they’re at ground level. Twister helps there.
Dendroid daily is definitely easier, though.

I was bored and decided to test speed run in DFO. Made a new character for the broom I found, played for 1.5-2.5 hours (alternated character when couldn’t get good party), attained level 13+ from level 1 using full fatigue bar. Party size was full and one of the characters had maps, had like 6 quest completes per run. Most runs were king difficulty. Avatars are supposed to add xp bonus so probably you can level faster. Dungeons were cleared almost instantly and retry was used for speed runs, most of the time spent was area transition, also move speed gear might help.
This is my 4th day playing DFO so I’m still newb to this game. Someone called me a noob in-game because I threw out a worthless item that supposedly wasn’t worthless. Some pink gun. It sucked imo. I only have two low level mages and fighter at the moment though so I don’t care about other gear.
Also, are rewards based on full clear of dungeon and score? Every time I get SS or SSS in a level higher than my own I almost always get a purple.
Going to take a break until semester is done, xp curve upgrade should be fun. I don’t know why people complain, leveling in this game seems a lot easier than hitting level 99 in D2 post cow patch. Although I see that DFO via Nexon has no in-game moderation and I noticed someone near a vendor drawing from pots fast so was probably a bot and the gold sell spammers are mad annoying and lag servers.
Playing this new character was so much easier, the other characters I didn’t use any skill points but since I get free re-spec I can dump into main kill early on.
Was also finally able to log onto pvp, entered practice, got a complement from a level 40 that my level 12 lasted so long 
Godlike footsies, too bad you can’t zone when you don’t do any damage.
pinks are pretty rare (I believe they’re higher than purple) though if they’re a low level, they probably aren’t all that much…but still a lot.
rewards are based on the clear score, how many mutant/champion monsters you kill (the ones with a aura around them.) So if you’re doing kings and do a full map and get a s/ss, expect good shit.

Don’t throw away pinks, they’re worth a good chunk of money.

I was just in Behemoth East 1 and I got a message saying “disconnected from the internet”. Then, my game just exited on its own.
I can’t tell if Gunner is this braindead or if I improved after my first character.
Probably both.

So I just changed to a new router today, switching from a lynksys to a d-link. Now when I try to play DFO I always get lagged out. More specifically, I never see a trade channel when selecting a server, and at times it takes forever for me to pick up a dropped item. Also the game would just crash as I gradually get lagging.
In my system tray I see my wireless being connected (usually with strong signal strength), but it would flash from 3 green waves to no green waves periodically. Is this an issue? The game is now virtually unplayable. Have any of you guys been faced with this issue?

The trade channel disappeared today so you are not crazy.
I use wireless at my school and wired connection at home. At school it randomly gets me lag spikes but not enough to be that detrimental. But if it’s too long then i get 7e error. If it’s taking a while to pick up an item, then you are having a lag spike, and during that time you are thinking “aww shit” because you have a chance to get kicked out.
Gunner is mad easy to use. Won’t be as dominant once level 60 caps roll around.
I have a linksys router and i’m not sure if it’s comcast’s shitty broadband connection or the router that keeps randomly disconnecting my laptop from the net connection…it’s really annoying as i’ll do a dungeon run and the game closes out because the router or broadband decides to crap out for a second. This happened to me last night when I was doing first spine daily.

Yeah. Probably cause they heard people bitching and moaning how it’s so much easier leveling on the other versions of DF. Which I agree. I played Arad and it had so many quests that you level up so much faster. Plus having all your quests on, it doesn’t seem like hassle, y’know?
