st. forward is an amazing anti-air. It rarely gets beat clean. EX Jet Uppercut is good if you wait until they get close to you so you can get both hits in.

It’s a good idea to use lp/mp jet upper as the trade leads into a lot more damage than st.MK, and cr.Fierce is just too slow. Not to mention that there are moves that WILL beat st.MK clean (spaced shoto j.Fierce) whereas I’ve yet to see a jet upper get completely beat.

Punishing EX pc with mp mgb its a joke, the dictator will do it all the time to get out of the corner for free if your “punish” is only that.

Ex scissors are irelevant because a good dictator will not wake up with them never. You can punish teleports too, but that is only an extra since dictators teleport is shit.

The tele OS is basically f.mk where you buffer U1 and continue with c.lp if f.mk hits.

Can someone give me the safe jump options. On the foward throw mk. ducking, can you use either j.FP/j.HK or one of them? What is the back throw safe jump specifically? Finally best OS to use in against backdash from safe jump? Thanks.

Back throw safe jump is back throw then forward dash jump towards.

Just out of curiosity. How is it possible to “chain” :lp: xx :lp:MGB ?
You can cancel :lp: into :lp:MGB , but MGB only gives you +2 on hit, with :lp: starting up with 3 frames, meaning it´s hitting at frame 3 it shouldn´t be possible to connect after :lp:MGB , if the opponent is just blocking.

It’s because the LP MGB hit abnormally giving the move different + frames on hit.

So he is doing a meaty :lp:MGB ??

The infinite he is doing is character specific (think it only works on Rog and Sagat). They have weird hitboxes and when the LP MGB is done far enough away, the 2nd hit of the LP MGB whiffs, making the 3rd hit differently than normal, giving it +3 frames on hit instead of whatever it normally is.

Didn’t they take that out? I never bothered to learn it because I thought they would.

Not yet. I was messing around in training mode and actually found out point blank cr. LK cr. LP s. HK x LP MGB is just the right spacing for the LP MGB to hit 2 hits to start this infinite.

I think the infinite might work on Guile, at least you can get the second hit of mgb to whiff.

Just tested it and the infinite works on Guile as well.

For juggling 3 straight cr. HK in corner or 2 cr. HK after juggle state, can some1 clarify if both are character specific. Who is it easiest/hardest to do against?

cr HK x 3 works on everyone and is easy. You have to hit the 2nd cr HK meaty/early.

cr HK x 2 after a EX MGB doesn’t work on:

I’m pretty sure I’ve done it on Sagat before. Heavy characters are the easiest to juggle.
