Marn did sHK HK ducking upper and it got blocked. Lol @ whoever said that negative edging into HK duck was unlikely.

That HP JU change is pretty weird though. JU was the only way Dudley could combo into a knockdown without meter, are they trying to say use LP/MP/EX to end combos? Too much forcing to play a specific way, imo.
Oh, that actually brings up a good question. Anyone know if frame advantage for MGB on hit has changed? I change in JU properties is totally fine with me if MGB’s are more + on hit.

I saw that Marn video with ArcadeUFO… and uh… st.hk into HK Duck Upper doesn’t connect? They will made st.hk look like shit. I wonder if st.hk into HP MGB connects… wow Capcom great job messing up Dudley.
It was confirmed back in December that sHK xx HK Duck Upper doesn’t work anymore. That’s when we really got to understand how much 3 hitstun taken away affected Dudley and what doesn’t work anymore.
No longer combos
sHK xx HK Duck Upper/Straight
sHK xx MK SSB
CH sHK xx LK Duck sHK/sLP/crLP/etc
sHK xx LK duck (EMPTY) is -2 on HIT, +1 on CH and remains -3 on block
Dudley could be thrown out of sHK xx LK Duck resets if the Dudley doesn’t do anything throw invincible.
Now to add to the list is either increased pushback on some normals or HP JU hitbox smaller, which is making some combos into HP JU not work any longer on some characters.

St.roundhouse into ducking upper still comboes, it just doesn’t for roundhouse duck upper since st.roundhouse has 3 less frames of hitstun.
No, they reduce the sHK entire recovery by 3 frames to make it 0(?) on block (it was -3 on block) and they adjusted hitstun so it remains +2 on hit, otherwise it would’ve been +5 on hit.
LK Duck was unchanged (still 20 frames). Hitting sHK on the first frame had 20 frames recovery in SSF4, in AE they changed it to 17.

Yeah I forgot about the recovery being reduced as well. I don’t like the mucking around that Capcom did to make st. roundhouse be 0 on block. I get why they did it so you couldn’t do a st. roundhouse > st.strong loop, but it messes with other things. Just gonna throw it out there, but the other Boxer has a stand roundhouse that is +7 on hit and coupled with a jab that is +4 on block, is actually easy to setup.
so basically they reduced his combo ability a little bit to increase his footsies and offensive pressure, ill take that trade off !
