You can cancel the Duck after 3 frames into the Straight or Upper. The moves are not 3 frames.

It’s nice to look at the outputs and get happy. Don’t let your eyes glaze over all these numbers in excitement. You should all really be asking yourself “Did Dudley get what he needed to cover his weaknesses in AE?” The answer to that question may not be the one you want to hear.
EX Duck beats high pokes
Probably middle too, noone’s tested middle pokes (vega’s c.MP)
Short Swing Blow seems relatively unchanged, you still get poked out and it still beats standing tech. EX Short Swing Blow doesn’t whiff last hit on small crouching characters (so far)
New EX Ducking combo, might be quite practical because I don’t think it’s character specific.

No changes to any character in AE made certain matchups better, the changes did make some worse or reaffirm that “these are your bad matchups, deal with it or learn a secondary”. The changes just defined what type of character they are better and made escaping not as “free” for lack of a better word. Look at the changes closely and you’ll understand.
Dudleys bad matchups consist of characters that keep him out with gdlk normals.
Hopefully with Dudley’s hitboxes supposidly being better and a faster recovering s.hk those matchups will get a little easier.
With Guile being nerfed that matchup should be slightly better.
Rog is nerfed but his normals are still going to be a pain.
Sim nerfed is great news.
Chun I dono. I havent heard much about her changes that warrant a big change in the matchup. I think itll be a bitch still.
I think AE Gief is going to become his new hardest matchup. Longer range lp spd is baaaaaad for dudley since almost every offensive option you do is spd punishable. Matchup is going to have to be played even lamer than you have to play it now. F+hp seems like it just became a much worse idea unless you space PERFECTLY everytime.
Any update on the rose? Sorry if its been asked and answered but I learned a long time ago not to read through 20 odd pages of a thread on SRK if I want to keep my sanity.
