With regards to EX Duck, I wonder if it might be quick enough to punish a blocked Honda headbutt on reversal? Rolling Thunder in 8 frames can, so if you can cancel into a Duck Straight on the 3rd frame during EX Ducking, perhaps it is punishable. We’ll have all our answers when the game hits I guess, but it’s fun to speculate.

Guys guess what… AE addition Bison goes for escape EX crusher out of corner, then dudley punishes him with EX ducking into standing roundhouse into jet upper. No?

EX ducking to get close to him before he can recover and block standing Heavy kicK.

and if that’s the case then will we be better off using U2 on bison since EX ducking will punish him now? and if we really want that dmg we can just EX ducking, Jet upper, U2?

hmm also i’m excited about EX ducking right into ultra 1. If that works then man i’ll be flying in $$

EX Duck is an EX Duck so it uses 1 bar so no super canceling it into Rocket Upper.
I see where you’re coming from with using U2 tho, makes sense since you’ll beable to punish his godlike jump in with it in addition to EX Duck punishes that’ll most likely outweigh the U1 punishes.

Dhalsim Bison and Akuma are the last 3 (after this week)

Duck Straight has 5 frame start up and Duck Upper has 3 frames of start up, so EX Duck Straight sound like new punishes for blocked headbutt and EX Duck Upper will be too depending on how far EX Duck takes you in those 3 frames before you cancel.

Depends on the total duration of EX Duck and the ground it covers. If it’s LK duck speed, nope since LK duck is 20 frames and blocked EX Psycho is -16.

Jet Upper into U2 does like 300 dmg, you can get more damage with 1 EX Bar and no Ultra.

If the total duration of EX Duck is the same as the loketest which was described as LK duck speed (20 frames) we could do LK duck into U1 now. You can cancel into the duck follow ups on the 3rd frame of EX Duck, not cancel into any normal.

U2 moves Dudley forward so unless the Bison is doing a jump in not directly on your head, Dudley still going to slip under him and Bison be staring at your back ready with his lol 300 max damage punishes (unless he has Ultra).

Why is it okay to assume Bison will do a Ultra 2 punishable jump in your post but not okay for me to assume he isn’t?

I know, this is SSF4 where jumping is the preferred means of travel and then everyone bitches about getting anti air’d, who the hell jumps in correctly?

Yeah I was saying that in the other change thread the other day. Sounds interesting.

This is going to sound very bitchy, but the fact that dartshot gets a better hitbox means that I get to learn how to do combos that have stricter timing and take more meter? Not that that’s a problem, but just make the st. roundhouse hitbox fatter and it’s actually a buff as opposed to a buff? .

Also if Ex Duck truely has Invicincle upper body properties…woud’nt it be a viable escape for vortex - akuma, ibuki, geif…

Also a good OS for Bison Honda, maybe Balrog but he has low straight but i imagine dudley’s follow straight will armor break Balrog before he hits a low

Dudley has so many juggles id like it if he had a normal that caused reset to add more options.

Better off linking into s.HK from Dart shot followed by EX MGB > Duck upper FADC > Duck Straight or c.HK > c.HK U2

It would be a meaty fHK or CH fHK to link into crMP

You can OS duck under Bison’s psycho crusher now, it’s classified as a projectile.

Everyone says this, but have they actually tried? The only psycho crusher that seems to be duckable is ex. Try escaping cross-up psycho crusher with reversal duck in training mode.

you couldn’t use st.HK xx EX Duck as a free FADC combo extender because it recovers as fast as LK Duck does now.

You can’t use EX Duck as a 3 frame reversal, because the Uppercut/Straight still have start up after those 3 frames. So it would lose to any invincible option select jump in. If the Uppercut/Straight are also invincible however, it would be interesting to look into.
