it still sounds " fly from side to side " to me …

thank you ^.^

Dudley HYPE !

you trollin? Its pretty clear what he says
But anyway, we’re getting a lil offtopic I think…

Well, so far digging this version of Dudley. Great animations and ultras, outstanding victory pose. As far as I find his new voice fitting, (“try a cup of this!”) I wish they would bring back his memorable lines. His intro is quite bad (generic “let’s begin” line and the VA delivering the line horribly for some reason). Well, most people skip them, guess that’s alright…but I hope “gutter trash” + rose throw is in. They could fit it in perfectly after his 1st ultra ends, instead he just stands there :frowning: Fingers crossed for a round win taunt. I would never mash my way into the next round if that is the case

favorite new thing about dudley

the gunshot you hear on the last hit of rolling thunder
hard as nails

Must admit I never liked the SF3 music (hip hop or whatever not my scene) but God damn I’m digging Dudley’s remix music.

As a true Englishman I will be giving Dudley a good try, with my monocle and tophat of course (pip pip!).

I also approve of his voice, could possibly sound deeper like the JP one but yeah, think it’s fitting for someone of his class and stature

His voice sounds like he belongs in the SAS or something. I like it

I could watch Miss Darkness’ av all day.

Nice DDR av… DDR= Dudley Dempsey Roll

They better reconsider giving damage properties back to his rose.

It is worth it to main Dudley just for his awesome theme remix alone.

Would that really make a difference ?

edit : …Oh yes it would, just to finish someone.

That new remix for Dudley’s stage is awful. Hideki Okugawa and Takayuki Iwai’s musical efforts were way better than this auto-tune bullshit trash that’s in the trailer. Apparently, the composer for one of the Onimusha games is working on the music in SSF4 and it is downright terrible. I don’t see how anyone could like that “JC Penney afterschool sale/ happy kid rave” bullshit music that’s in the trailer. It could easily be used in a JC Penney commercial, TJ Maxx, or Ross. That music is terrible. That is the only thing I didn’t like about that trailer. They need to get the old composers back but that won’t happen.

Again, other than that and the horrible cartoony face Guy made–I’m happy with the new trailer.

I like the music, and I liked Guy’s face.

Dudley looks so bad in SSF4. His look, his animation, his Ultras…HORRIBLE

Yeah the 3S mixes are basically all SFIV’d out. Like the hardcore tranced out beats really kill the songs original flavor. The songs are just overly tranced and use too many trancey high pitched sounds that kill the original music. It’s all Cascada’d out and shit. Like how you can ask a typical school girl if she likes electronic music and of course the only stuff she’ll like is the girly trances of her favorite pop songs. I had to do a double take on the video just to realize that Ibuki’s and Dudley’s 3S themes were actually being remixed. Makoto’s theme was the only one I could tell from the first time I watched the video that it was her song. Mainly because the song already had a hard techno beat to it. Though her song in 3S was more DandB influenced.

Yeah, like I thought, Dudley’s Japanese vo is terrible. It makes you think his English vo isn’t bad at all.

Where are you guys hearing this Dudley level music? Because, you know the trailer music is NOT the character music, right? It’s just the trailer soundtrack changing for the character shown, and isn’t what they use in the levels.

Dudley is fucking awesome

NOW GET ON THE DANCE FLOOR!

Just from this man’s move list I can tell his option selects will be SERIOUS.

Yeah its really sad because–the OST for 3s was very well done–despite everyone always thinking fighting games need to have a fucking guitar riff to personify “excitement”, or “an intense battle”. The trailer for Cammy, Chun and Juri was great except for the “Join the Navy” music that was put into the trailer. Its obvious that the composer feels that all of the music needs to be “ambient/epic” which was something that really wasn’t a consistent component to the artistic sensibility of SF. Despite that–I will do like I always do, hook my external HD up to my PS3/360 and put on either my 3s OST, Nujabes, Camp-Lo, or Jabberloop (awesome japanese band) and SF4 and then SSF4 that way

I think Okugawa, Iwai, and Ise were underrated as composers for Capcom. I wasn’t pleased with Ise’s work in CVS2 completely at first but there are some gems on the OST, especially the End Credits theme. I would’ve loved that as an actual BGM.
