Yeah it’s been like 12 years since Francis did the voice for Dudley. They’d have to basically rip his voice from the old game and that of course would seem kind of fake. It would have been probably next to impossible to cast him again seeing that he’s probably retired by now. The quality of the voice acting changed so much from Second Impact to 3rd Strike. In Second Impact Alex sounded like Michael Jackson and Dudley just wasn’t as convincing. I don’t have much hope for the English voice actors in Super considering most of them were terrible ass typical morning cartoon fare but maybe a couple will turn out alright. Hearing Dudley in Engrish is going to be fun as shit though. :lol:
Can you speculate if rolling thunder would be as good as an anti-fireball ultra as chun-lis and abels ultras?
I would also like to know this… Apparently it does go through fireballs, but at what distance? Half-screen? Full screen?

IIRC you could control the distance that Rolling Thunder went by holding down the buttons. This didn’t increase its invincibility though, and if you held the buttons too long, he would not activate the super. Dunno if this still applies in SSFIV.
Thunderbolt causing untechable knockdown? I can see that being useful occasionally.

if it’s anything like 3s rolling thunder it should be a plasma chucker’s nightmare. You could GET HIT by a fireball then punish it with rolling thunder.

Cross counter being gone won’t be the end of the world. That’s for sure. It was slightly more useful than thunderbolt punch. Slightly.
It’s gonna be hilarious once you start connecting it on wake up spammers, that is unless it act like a focus and can be broken.

EX was useful only when you could call someones high attack. Flow charts be damned.
Cross Counter wasn’t all that useful in 3S because of parry, I can definitely see it being much more powerful of a tool in SF4.

I just remembered something… Technically we all SHOULD have seen Gens 2 new Ultras at the Las Vegas event, but coincidentally nobody decided to record any footage of it.
There’s no reason for there to be an embargo on a move that everyone should have already seen by now…
I mean, Capcom gave a ton of people access to it…

They’re the only ones we haven’t seen, and it’s not like Capcom was hiding them from us.
