A Left Cross is a left-handed straight punch from a southpaw boxer.
An example of a cross counter would be:
Two orthodox boxers, boxer A throws a straight right. Boxer B properly times the punch, steps in “barely” dodging or slipping past and through it while simultaneously throwing his own cross
The cross counter thing with Dudley is a a play both on him being a gentleman (taking what your opponent has to offer, and dishing it too) and on the Anime Ashita no Joe

Apparently it was really crappy in 2i. I hope it breaks focus now. Could make it useful.
I’m so incredibly grateful that Dudley is in. He’s by far my favorite FG character and I use him exclusively in 3S. Besides the game mechanics, vanilla SFIV really didn’t do anything for me as far as the character selection went. Having Dudley in now gives me a reason to pick it up.
My only hope is that he’s a somewhat more difficult character to use. Not to sound selfish, but I like being in the minority of players who use him.
I’m glad they put his old move back. (This doesn’t replace any moves, right?). Who wants to lose a fucking crazy looking move like that one? I’m pretty sure they aren’t going to fuck up and make it completely worthless again.
