Dual Modding My 360 TE Stick (Help Needed)

I asked this in one of the help threads but still have not received an answer, so I created a new thread. I will keep it up to date with my progress and I’ll also post pictures.

I am in process of dual modding my 360 TE. New sanwa buttons and JFL stick. I am using a Hori FS3 PCB and I don’t mind having 2 usb cables sticking out. I am about to start wiring them together by using the diagram below.

My question is do I have to connect the Ps3 PCB to the 360 PCB? I’ve read that some have done that, but I’m not sure why, and if I do, where do I wire them together? Did you try checking on on Toodles dual PCB thread?

You’ll have to connect the grounds and the +5v/+3.3v as the picture indicates
