I’m really stupid, I can’t find what size drillbit for 24mm pushbutton, I keep seeing 1 1/8 inch for 30 mm buttons…
You need a 24mm hole saw for 24mm buttons.
30mm buttons need a 30mm hole saw.
1 1/8" hole saws or forstner bits are for 28mm buttons; ie American-style or Korean-style buttons.
Don’t fuck around, do yourself a favour and get a step drill bit that includes both 24mm & 30mm sizes.
It will change your life.
I’m drilling plastic, yeah a stepbit would be a must for plexi.
I’m needing to drill a button for the touchpad touch button, since p mode requires it…so dumb cause most sticks don’t have a touchpad.
I’m going to put my share button on the front of my stick and put the touch button where my share use to be.
I got 24mm and 30mm forstner bits, good for wood or solid plastic. Hole saw okay for thick materials. Otherwise Gahrling got the right idea with a step bit, it’s a life saver with plexy
