dreamGEAR Arcade Fighter Classic Pad: ps3 pcb *ps3slim capable with usb hub*

holy shit. It has a fork button!

so is it common ground or not? Its hard to determine if it is from the picture.

I’ve gone over it with my Multimeter and best I can tell it’s common ground. Actually if you check the pic of the back of the PCB there are some points labeled “COM” Those are COMmon ground points.

very nice.

I think I’ll order some. Can’t wait to use the fork button.

lol i stil havent get my shipment yet D;
nice to see its common ground =)

Never mind that pic is incorrect.

excellent, now I’m gonna grab a couple. Thanks for the pictures.

wow, can it really do trubo? test it out to see if the board actually has that functionality or if it was a scrapped feature.

Those are really good looking (and cheap) for a PS3/PC padhack.

I wish like hell they had something like that for xbox (besides the fightpad)

Agreed, no more trigger hacking would be hot.

While I’d still buy a Cthulhu for PS3 only applications. If I ever wanted a pad where I could hack the player LEDs, this thing would be perfect.

How long is the USB cable?

I have no idea how to test turbo functionality. You’d need one of the guys that have extensive electronics knowledge for that.

I can tell you that it’ll work with Motionjoy USB drivers though!

Seems to be a typical 3m (9.8ft) cord. I’ll probably use there for dual modding in the future since Cuthulha’s don’t seem to be available in kit form anymore.

Could one of you guys take the time to review it on New Egg? Well anyone that didn’t dis-assemble it out the the box.

Any thoughts on using this as a dual mod for a TE or hell any stick? Price is excellent

I’d say go for it. The PBC is alot easier to work with than even that Madcatz retro stick.

yea i just got the pad today =D, Ragnorok64 got it first since hes in west coast and the item shiped from CA D;

now just waiting for my cheap ebay dpdt switches. probably start soldering wires to this pad this weekend when i get the time

I definitely want to invest in a couple of these. :smiley:

so are the pads any good as pads? they looks really nice and clean as far as the pcb goes, but im somewhat curious about the actual pad.

D; tried plugging them in to test out but the pad dont see to work. kept flashing…
have to rma for another…

ok i livechated with cust. rep. lucky she was nice enough to refund me back and didnt require me to ship item back or else the total amount i paid for shipping = more than the controller itself and with the total amount of money spent i could have gotten the dual pack instead.

anyway, Ragnorok64 did both of your pad work? il probably get the dual pack instead with the refunded money but want to know if the dual pack is in working condition or not.

Actually I’m in the Eastern timezone so we received our pads on the same day. Though mine shipped from

I don’t really trust myself to give a good review of these as I’ve never used a 6 button gamepad before. It gets the job done, but I feel the D-Pad isn’t as accurate as it should be. They don’t have much going on in way of heft either. Though the plastic is thick it doesn’t have the overall quality feel of like an old SNES controller.

Both of mine worked fine out of box. You have to hit the home button a second time to make it stop flashing and synch to an assigned number, also with the auto turn off feature on the PS3 now you may have to resynch it if you leave it go for a while.

Also you may want to change the thread title to something that would draw more attention.

just did.

i tried pressing the home button alot of times and even try holding on to it but no go.
