mine came in the mail couple days ago. bought male and female. the can stand on their own but they come with their ownclear stand. each costs 8 buckeroos. theyre around 6 inches tall.
I would definitely not use those as a guide to muscle or surface anatomy but they seem like great little tools for getting a pose and an angle down fast!
Iāve been using this pdf a lot and while somewhat clinical in nature, itās really helped me a lot in reviewing my anatomy. All major muscle groups are detailed in at least 4 angles and there are charts that detail origins and insertions in case the diagrams themselves are confusing(and many of them are. Such is the nature of the human body).

Still on my art journey doing animations and what not. My shit still sucks but I keep at it. Went ahead and opened a new twitter for my artwork (has nothing right now) but Iām willing to share my cringe to the public. Checking out how to animate fight scenes and what not.
the best thing about Corel is their paint brushes. their paint effects are unmatched. it really looks and feels like real oil paint.
their photo filters/manipulations are great too. but, like i said before, krita is free. and has more tools. butā¦corel is necessary if you are after a realistic paint effect.
i expected the Caran Dā Ache to win tbh because ive used Caran before since the early 90s. never their pencils tho. just their crayons. Caran is boss. They dont mess around when it comes to pigment.
im actually gonna try out some unknown to me up till now, oil based colored pencils. just waiting for them in the mail.

I didnāt research much after that. Hereās some good ones, I think.
Nice. Well, first you can set your videos to private or unlisted:
Summary
Private means only those you invite to view the video can view it (they must have their own Youtube accounts and the maximum number is 50 usernames). Your video will not come up under any search results or your channel list. If you try to share it with someone who wasnāt invited, they will not be able to connect to it.
Unlisted means your video will not come up in search results or on your channel either. Only those who know the link can view it, and you can share the link with anyone, even those who do not have a YouTube account/username. This means that this video could still be seen by anyone, but only if they guess the link!
If your video is already uploaded, go to your video manager under the drop down menu and you can change the privacy settings for each video as well as DELETE your videos permanently.
I think setting the videos to unlisted would be better in case anyone doesnāt have youtube or cant log in at the moment. Whichever you decide, the process is shown here:
and then for easier sharing you can make a playlist of the unlisted videos:
what i learned from using 5 types of colored pencils.
these are the 5 pencil types
1)Wax based
2)Oil based
3)Inktense
4)Wax Liquid based
5)Watercolor
pros and cons.
Wax-type used Prismacolot Premier soft cores
has the most intense vivid pigment. easiest to lay down or layer. blending poor. produces wax bloom or sheen when layered excessively
Oil-type used Koh l Noor woodless Progresso
not as intense color as wax. between the 5 types this one blends the best when dry blending. no bloom or sheen when layered thick. can be turned into paint when turpentine is used.
Inktense-type used Derwent Inktense. Derwent is owned by parent company Winsor & Newton.
water soluble pen/marker ink in pencil form. when wetted turns into paint like watercolor. once dry, it dries to a permanent ink wash. 2nd application of water does not reactivate it into a paint . very best out of the 5 in terms of layering
Liquid Wax-type used Bruynzeel Rijks Museum made by parent company Royal Talens which is also like winsor & newton a oil paint company.
no difference between this and waxed based pencils like Prismacolor except these pencils even tho they are wax dont produce any wax bloom with multiple layerings.
Watercolor-type used is Prismacolor watercolor
best at blending when wet. of course, not as intense as wax. luminescent. no bloom.
i was gonna mention my Faber Castell pastel pencils butā¦meh. not necessary.
Hereās a video I found about the making of Thundercats, it has some interesting concept art. They also talk about outsourcing most of the animation to Japanese companies. Itās worth watching from beginning to end.
hereās one of my top 5 most important books f my artistic career.
got it back in college and steered me in the right direction regarding portraiture.
i would call the book mandatory. its that good.
kindle downloadable version is 20 bucks.
