Dragons Dogma Revival

How to whore?

My pawn is level 200, so that shit is pretty expensive for people not on my friend’s list.

At high levels best way to get RC is to rent other pawns and get reciprocated. So add people here or on gameFAQs and generally people will return a rent with a rent.

Alternatively, time to grind out a second file!

How? How do you grind out a second file? You can only have one…make a new profile?

Well, as you’ll notice in the ID list, I have two PSN IDs listed, so yeah just gotta create a new account. It’s fairly common practice amongst the people that have been and still do play DD since the beginning lol

Laaaaaaaame…will probably use one of my other profiles at some point lol.

Edit: Tried out the Ur Dragon. Got bitch slapped to death in on hit

lol.

I hate you guys that can still use the carrot trick, I bought the dark arisen version

By the way, I’m soloing the game as a warrior. No pawn rentals homie.

Wait these guys are playing Vanilla DD? I thought we were talking about Dark Arisen…

I don’t think so?

If you’re referring to what I said, I just mean that making another PSN account has been somewhat common amongst the long standing players

Only Crotchpuncha is on Vanilla DD. Everyone else is DD:DA I believe.

Damnit guys we missed gen 501 death blow by hrs/mins

Gen 502 full health

They are going down fast, we need more ticker updates

I haven’t fought a Ur-dragon in ages. Let me know when it is about to die and I MIGHT give it a try.

I’ve got the 360 version, played through vanilla and DA at least 5 times, have two level 200 files. Easiest way to kill the Ur Dragon is by keeping your distance and spamming Holy enchanted focused bolt, it tracks the weak spots and does big damage without costing any stamina. Really, while the Ur Dragon was a cool idea, the execution sucked due to shitty climbing controls and an otherwise decent camera going to hell when you’re on its back.

I wish there was a more straight froward way to train your pawn. It’s tough for me to tell if what I’m asking them to do is being done cuz the game is pretty hectic most of the time, I would just like to have more control over their behavior. Basically I wish they had ripped off FFXII’s gambit system for the pawns lol.

best way in my experiance is to just use the potions you can buy at the fort, and NEVER use pawn commands

Which fort?

erm the first one you arrive at after leaving your village, they are sold in the tent where the rift portal is

Man, I get so lost in this game. I have no clue how the fuck I’m gonna get back to Gran Soren alive.

I’m doing a Wrym Hunt mission where you have to go and help protect some kind of fort that’s under attack by goblins, and I spent a good 3 and a half hours, 3 chimera fights, and a cyclops battle GOING THE WRONG FUCKING WAY. Instead I came upon this creepy area with a lake full of black water, a SHITLOAD of harpy’s, and some weird women-only thief guild.

I’m tempted to just look up a fully-discovered map of the game online, but, I feel like I’d be cheating myself out of the experience at that point…

did the same exact thing on my play through. From the starting village Cassardis you wanna take the left hand fork after The Encampment (first fort) and you will eventually find it after a trek through the woods.

Here is the map, although I recommend you dont use it until your first playthrough since exploration is a big thing in this game when your rolling for the first few times.

@valaris RedD is back :coffee:

Yo Martian don’t look at a map lol. Do you have a Ferrystone? If so use it. No reason to sit on them, they respawn at the port crystal in Gran Soren every couple of in game days, and you can buy them from the shops (They are really cheap from the guy who wants you to evict the residents from home a he wants to sell in Gran Soren.)
