Same system. I have it for the Vita and PSTriple so I can transfer my save file. I’m lvl 55 almost 56. Adventure’s Boon gives you 50% bonus XP on Hard. Hnghh.

Im wonder what ya’ll that have this game on both systems prefer to play it on? I would say voice chat (that party shit) may make the vita version superior but if you’re playing on both you can just use your vita for voice chat while on the ps3. Well, if the other people you are playing with also have a vita. They’re both identical otherwise right?
Shit, I only have it on the Vita but I know I would play it on Vita way more than PS3 if I had both. I have several cross buy games and have never even touched them on the ps3…
p.s. Ive also become one of those PC snobs so I dont really like playing on my consoles anymore…
Just a bit of a pro tip for all the wizards and sorceresses it there: When face a big enemy, stay far away and cast the up circle spell.
This mainly applies to the fire and ice wraps, particularly the ice weapons. What happens is that upon impact, the spell explodes and flares out like a snowflake. The flares, for the ice weapons anyway, ** do not disappear**.This means they hit the enemy multiple times. This does damage. Chunks of life just vanish on colossal baddies.

I’m assuming you mean the jumping up circle spell, but yeah they’re amazing on big bosses. You can also levitate cancel them for faster/more casts in the air by double jumping and then alternating holding X and O. With a fire staff equipped combine this with Fire Ward for ridiculous damage since the Fire Ward and Levitate bonuses stack.

I stopped playing the fighter and tried out the Dwarf.
He was a lot of fun in normal, but he just doesn’t cut it as much in hard.
He isn’t bad, but he isn’t really as fun or useful until you max out a bit of his skills it seems.
What does fire ward do exactly?
Him summoning frogs ain’t got SHIT on him turning you into one.

It boosts all fire damage dealt to any enemy within the circle by 50% when maxed. So Fireward+Blaze+Slow combined with Aerial attacks from a fire staff (with the 50% levitate damage bonus) will burn down bosses very quickly. In a party with another Wizard or an Elf using salamander oil the damage gets pretty silly.
It also has the added bonus of nullifying any fire attacks within it’s area of effect as well as letting you cast fire spells in water.
Edit: Unrelated, but does anyone know if I use the respec item is it possible to get another one by clearing floor 3 of the chaos lab again? I really want to spec out of wood golems because they have gotten less useful as the difficulty has gone up.
