I really want this game and I’m a huge fan of Vanillaware, but being that there’s no limited edition and I’ve got too much stuff to pay for right now I’m gonna wait 'til it’s a little cheaper. I did get the art book, though.
When you’re on the ship doing A path, and you go to the part where the narrator says the pirates have ambushed you. Most of them will be regular pirates but there’s also an elite pirate there who warps, throws spells, and does ungodly damage with several of his attacks
I wish the character specific items would regen over time like dwarf barrels, rings, and bombs. I end up saving them like I save elixirs in final fantasy games and as usual, never get used.
Found some cool tech you guys might find useful. When enemies are in any knockdown state (wallbounce, ground bounce, stunned) its possible to cause additional bounces by making them contact the wall again.
Example: corner trap Rannie, wall bounce him, then evade in the direction of the wall you bounced him against until the far wall touches him.
I was able to use this in multiplayer mode, but of course only in rooms with camera scrolling. Its not exactly super useful per se but can be used situationally, like when you get a bounce on a larger enemy but are swarmed by trash mobs.
This is also applicable against bosses; I pulled this off on the Gazer. Typically in the Gazer fight you’ll knock him down and get a few free hits on him and he’ll shortly teleport out. If you can get him to contact the wall on the knockdown you can generate multiple “soft” wallbounces and essentially combo it like its in stun state. Should have broader application against other bosses as well. DC doesn’t seem hard enough to require these strats but if you run with a dedicated party then you can get some very beastly results. The positioning is tough to set up but when it happens its too stronk.
I’ve had 2 or 3 of those 10 mil gold revive bones but I haven’t had a problem with them. I bury them get some chaos gear and then sell it. There’s been no issues thus far.
When I was playing with random I would see a few messages with scattered asterisks so maybe they do and just don’t count “nigga”. They are japanese lol
If you block, you take reduced damage, but prolonged blocking will break your guard and you lose your weapon. Parry is a stricter timing guard, which grants the invincibility.
Play a few rounds online and see if you can pick up some higher leveled allies from bones(although with the hacked bone glitch, I’d be careful about who I resurrect), I copped a couple of lv. 50 allies and had them do the majority of the front line work while I chucked rocks at it.
Maaaan I’ve decided I’m not mobbin up til I hit hard mode.
Anyway, the dwarf is too damn gully. I mean this nigga be swan diving, styling on niggas droppin bombs all over the map.
He got that ill “Bron James, Dominique Wilkins” alley-oop combo. Where he throws a busta ass skeleton/draconian/ogre against the wall, then jump and catch them and repeat, and then throw they ass to the ground with extreme prejudice.
I be servin up alley-oops all day for my bot allies, I can only imagine the possibilities with actual ppl.
