Until them women can spread them thighs and drop it like Chun, and get shoved in an anime where they show up nude just before fighting in a shirt and some underwear or the like, Chun is forever the queen of bottom heavy women.
On topic about this game. Feels like I’ve been waiting for it for years, really… and I don’t have a PS3, but… hmmm…
Vanillaware is a fairly small Japanese developer and with the Xbox 360 install base almost non-existent in Japan, I imagine they don’t want to eat a huge financial loss for what is already a very niche game type. It would take a publisher with guts(lol) and money to try and get this ported for Xbox users here in NA, and I as much as I want it, I doubt it would even pull Bayonetta numbers here.
Not that I wouldn’t find that situation hilariously ironic…but my point was more to the fact that people stereotype feminists as being uptight prudes who shirk or condemn female sexuality.
These types of feminists (like Anita, which is why I directly named her) feel that any expression of female sexuality is a form objectification, where a woman is seen only as a sexual object. And even if a woman chooses to be sexual it’s somehow an expression of the oppression and brainwashing of the patriarchy.
I, and feminists like myself, believe that a woman should have the right to choose to be sexy. Sex, after all, is a part of the human condition. Female sexuality shouldn’t have to be locked away, it should be expressed whether in the choices of women or the art of media (like this game).
So yes, I like sexy women. I like witch hats and magic and I thought the sorceress looked really cool. So when someone makes a comment about prudish feminists I wanted it to be apparently clear that not all of us are like that.
Oh I completely agree. Sega kicked Nintendo’s ass in the 90s based almost solely on the fact that they had a better advertising department. Part of the reason CoD sells like crack is all that damned advertising they do- you can’t do shit without seeing a banner or magazine ad for that crap.
Bayonetta and Vanquish would have sold at least 25% better if current Sega knew what the hell advertising was. Even shitty ass DmC would have done better with some decent advertising put out there…
The global website has a nice tidbit on the abilities of every class
Fighter is the tank basically, his guard will also guard allies near him, quick attacks, lots of life, slow movement and short range
Magician is a glass cannon, low life, needs prep time for strong spells, highest damage in game though.
Dwarf is high damage, two weapons, has command throw, low defense.
Amazon is powerful and agile but low defense. The technical, action game character relying purely on skill.
Sorceress is an Jill-of-all-trades magic user. Healing potions, damage spells(weaker than Magician), can make and control golems and skeletons, can turn enemies to frogs, etc.
Elf it doesn’t say much on aside from “has alot of specialized skills” and needs character knowledge to really shine. I know from other interviews she has ammo on her bow but can pick up arrows she fired from enemies she killed.
