No, I am pretty sure those artbooks are dlc.

Get an upgraded vita then buy it is what I would do. And Genkai is alive and well now she came back after tournament remember?

I think its funny cause I read your entire post in Redd Fox’s voice cause of the beggining

I’m going to answer a bit of questions here so BEAR with me

I wouldn’t say it is worth getting a vita for just one game IMO, you need to look around and see if there is any other games that interest you. And word out on the street there is going to be a PS4+Ps Vita bundle for 500 bucks so that would be a steal IMO. Also the artbook is NOT DLC, it is a pre-order bonus.

The game is disc based on the ps3 and vita. You could probably also download it from the PSN store for the Vita as almost ALL vita games available on the PSN. Also the game is $50 for ps3 and $40 for the vita.

Do we know if there will be any DLC for this game after release?

Ya, the artbook

Can you make a party of only one class?

Like can I be a Dwarf with three other dwarves as back-up? I remember hearing/reading about being able to have NPC classes in single player, can you have a bunch of NPC dwarves?

Because that would be fucking awesome.

So I pre-ordered the game today and got an artbook. I’m tempted to play dumb on tuesday and try to get a 2nd copy of the artbook.

Im buying this game just for the magic girls’ boobs.

<3

I am still pissed off about the art book NOT being hard cover.

I was going to get 2 copies, too, just to have a coffee table copy of the art book, and one to keep in pristine condition.

Oh, well (I went ahead and put the money for the second copy on Disgaea D2 instead).

not that its just that soft cover bs, i read its also really terrible quality pages and colors, compared to that glossy good that the japanese version is. its like the us is getting that old school egm and japan is getting that good old school gamefan.

Except the good old school Postmeister Gamefan actually came out first, in this case.

First world problems.

Really?

Video game bonuses = First World problem.

No shit.

How insightful.

In other news, water: it is wet.

Also another look at that amazon sculpt I said was horrible(along with another horrible action figure)

Blech

and lets be happy about that while were at it, you could have been from ethiopia or iraq or some shit.

edit: damn, postmeister? wasnt that that buff blue dude with the tv on his head instead of head? these mags been too long, used to buy them all the time for all the good oldschool fighting game coverage in them (early till late 90’s). shit i still got a huge stack of the best volumes released (threw all the other none worthy ones away long time ago) somewhere in the attic.

The fuck?

Why couldn’t we have gotten this dude as the warrior?

He’s way cooler looking than odd-shape girly face.

Talk shit about my darling fighter again and we’re gonna have to settle this in PvP.

The lower quality art book is probably a decision on Atlus’s part to reduce costs. This happens fairly often when it comes to JP preorder bonuses and US preorder bonuses of the same game; mainly because JP versions are typically much more expensive and need high quality bonuses to help them sell. Take a look at anime DVDs, for example. US DVDs sell for around $20 per volume and usually include 3-4 episodes per volume with no bonuses. JP DVDs usually sell for around $70-80 per volume with two episodes each, but contain a bunch of extras (that aren’t worth it most of the time IMO).

It sucks that the art book is lower quality, but I’d rather have that than no art book at all. I wouldn’t mind paying $60, however, if it meant the art book was higher quality…

Best issue of Game fan ever, IMO, was the one with the spread on the Saturn version of Night Warriors.

Though the Nick Rox Purple Shadows Saga and the disgruntled soon to be ex-employee hate-speech against the Japanese article and its subsequent fallout were pretty epic too, if infamous instead of famous.

Halverson STILL owes Akuma Chan a paycheck or two.
