Some notes from a guy who beat the game on normal mode.

Actually, I finished Normal mode already. Didn’t really count how many hours it took, but it was probably around the ballpark of 16~20 hours, give or take.

Coolest part of the game for me? Without spoiling anything, The Lost Woods’s B boss. Every stage has A and B paths.

I think you guys already know this, but there’s Normal Mode (Lv cap: 35), Hard (65), and Inferno (99).

Level caps are one thing, but what makes you strong in this game are the crazy equipment you find - stacking chances for critical hit, damage reduction, etc etc.

After clearing Normal mode you also unlock the Arena and the… Chaos Dungeon? Not too sure how to translate that, but these levels are randomly-generated.

I am very glad that it turns out NOT to disappoint in this regard.

seriously they died like 8 times in that medusa video and still came out positive in gold/loot/exp. plus they didn’t sacrifice gold til around the 4th death, then they got more free lives, then the gold penalty doubled.

i hate being that guy, but has anyone heard of a finite death mechanic in hard or whether hard is locked from the start shudder?
