It’s not just this game. It seems like the rest of the world is given Japan’s video game scraps. I just wish they would treat other prominent markets as viable places to promote their products.
I guess I’ve gotten to the point where I just rage when I see something cool and it’s like “Sorry! Japan only!”

I’m sure they consider the cultural differences when they decide what to add in a collector’s edition. Soundtracks and art books are safe bets, but body pillows? I wouldn’t buy that.
Looking at the Dragon’s Crown stuff though, I don’t see anything that justifies not allowing other countries access to them. Maybe they think people outside Japan wouldn’t buy this stuff for over $100?
The usa video game market is a LOT larger than that of japan’s. It’s just that massive pride issue that japan has. Fuck everyone else, america the most, we’re #1 is japan’s way of thinking. There stubborn as fuck too. And I think you can figure out why japan still hates us so much. Just look at 360 sales over there as a example too.
The whole mega man issue comes down to japan too. Mega Man Legends 3 was clearly set up to fail by capcom too. Anything we try to do for mega man here doesn’t really matter when of course japan always has final say. All this virtual console releasing for mega man now and soon is just smoke and mirrors so people won’t think as much about wanting a new mega man game. Plus all these vc releases are on xbox,ps2 and gamecube collections for the original and X series 1-6. I doubt they’ll ever ever be a real new mega man game unless they allow him to come back. Infanue leaving is of course the main reason why we get nothing now. Had he stayed we would probably be playing Mega Man Legends 3 and Mega Man Universe right now.

This isn’t really new news but I found it interesting, apparently Sony will be using Dragons Crown to show off there new 4K TV’s. Atlus is also specifically inviting fans and regulars (in Japan) to sign up to demo play Dragons Crown on said TV’s.

Ok seriously who really gives a fuck about 4K tvs? I get that it’s “the future” but is it the same sort of leap that we made from Standard to High Def?
I remember reading something about media supporting 4K TVs is very far off, considering the current technology can’t even support 4K TVs in a practical manner.
4K TV sets have the same resolution as digital projectors in cinemas. Basically you’re getting the 4 times the resolution you would be getting on a 1080P set… How much latency this would cause with games is anyone’s guess though.
It’s more like a 4K resolution movie (maybe even game?) cannot fit on a Blu-Ray. The average consumer isn’t even CLOSE to being able to stream anything 4K either. Even digitally downloading a 4K movie would require a shit ton of space.

Honestly, the only thing that speaks better when I’ve looked at them - is colors pop alot better, with less bleeding. When I FINALLY get my house, I’m more than likely going to look at a 4K set…but its a ways off - by then the sets should be in the realms of reality cost wise.
But 1) Blu Rays can do 4k, but the industry standard has not been set - meaning the PS4 is actually in a good place as an upgradable option (like the PS3 with regards to Blu-Ray standards). 2) Streaming 4k isn’t unrealistic in todays large markets, there are currently TV stations that already stream 4k thru the current pipelines.
Either way its an extreme resolution that should only be ‘thought of’ in extreme situations. If 60" screens are BIG, maybe even too big for you or your setup - then ignore it. It doens’t matter how much the tech evolves, the human eye won’t notice a difference.

Fuckin sweet. Hope it’s similar Guardian Heroes style. Me and my cousin back in the day would just do the cheat code to unlock everything, go into the arena and do 2-player co op vs like 8 other OP enemies.
