I don’t think you guys should get your hopes up too much. They’re previous rereleases always had a fancy subtitle if they were adding new stuff. Just calling it “pro” makes it sound like nothing more than a 4k upgrade. Which IS cool for their art, but yeah
To make all this art takes a lot of effort and resources on their part. They probably have their hands full with 13 Sentinels
quoted and added stuff to your post. Dat witchcraft yo.

Looks like an upgraded port that has crossplay with PS3 and Vita.
Hmmm…I would still get it for the PS4 when it does come stateside.

Urgh, after hearing about all the hacking on PS3 I was kind of hoping the PS4 version wouldn’t have the cross play so we could leave the hacked shit behind.
Also that means we probably don’t have any substantial new content with this version if it still plays ball with the older ones.

Titled Dragon’s Crown Pro, the PlayStation 4 version supports 4K and Cross-Play with the PS3 and the PS Vita. The Japanese release also includes the English language voices, and the soundtrack has been re-recorded with a live orchestra.
Kind of telling that there’s more hype for a reissue of a four year old game that is so functionally identical to its predecessor that it is literally compatible with it, than there is for the vast bulk of the legitimately new stuff coming out.
I’m thoroughly disappointed that they didn’t add anything truly new.
I may still be down to run groups with the SRK fam if this gets the band back together, but I’ll probably sit out the PS4 game less it’s one of those $15 budget affairs.
For me I’ll grab the ps4 version to run at my local anime group because my PS3 runs too loud but that is pretty much my only incentive to pick it up which kind of sucks ass.
Welp it’s gonna get a pass but hopefully will give them enough revenue to focus on some new stuff.

I mean, they are still working on that new game, and since their isn’t much new content at all in Pro, I don’t think this distracted them much
Well, the video is is titled trailer 1, I guess we’ll see if something new pops up in trailer 2.
I mean the original game came out at the end of the PS3’s life cycle. A rerelease will bring in new fans and players, now that the current gen is quite mainstream. Seems like a win/win to me!
