Dragon's Crown (Chun-li has been dethroned as Queen of Thighs)

Ah ok. One always read that the invincibility damage bonus from the condemned items only apllied to evasion invincibility. I never knew it also applied to parry invincibility.

The game is fun but does that come boring after an hour or so. Long runs are not for me, I think 2 hours is the Max I’m capable of.

Long runs is how you level up faster ad get the good stuff.

Umm…at 49,999, you fight a Kraken. At 50k, you fight the Archdemon. They are just beefed up alot, with major health and random stats (invun normally to start).

I use board 49,992 to test my builds. The Golem at the end is the only boss that I don’t do 999,999 damage on, so I used him to see what the maximum amount of damage I could create. Seems that an elf with a lot of deadly boots, maxed stats, and damage buffs enabled me to do 172k a hit on that guy…Maybe I’ll revisit and see if I can come up with another setup.

It’s still broken, they should have given you the option the change characters for long runs and have all your characters level up instead of just the ones you play as. It’s become way too tedious and messed up the game’s flow. Levelling up in this game just blows. It doesn’t give me enough incentive to play.

What’s worse is that if you bring the game to a friend you might as well bring your ps3. Having gimped characters just sucks, it’s not a friendly game to bring elsewhere and have funfun with (something old beat em ups did have).

I honestly liked the game more when 99 was the max level, it didn’t take long to hit max level and was much more fun to play with friends. The TOM stuff just has too much damage going on in the background and there is too much stuff spammed everywhere. It’s too hard to progress in TOM in my opinion, and the drop rate is so low most of the items you find are only slight upgrades from LOC, and not good enough to really overcome the huge amount of damage that enemies in TOM do to your character. IMO you can’t really just blow through TOM unless you have a hacked character.

heh, I’m on a long run right now at the moment… the Vita’s just in its ā€œsleepā€ mode. I just checked and my Fighter is currently at nearly 13 million points… I think he’s only on the 3rd bag at the moment.

On long runs… the cooking/camp segment becomes a bit annoying to me. Sure the bonuses are nice, but that actually breaks the ā€œflowā€ for me… I find myself just wishing I could actually skip that if I wanted to, just so I could get right back to the fighting asap.

I realize there will be one hell of a long list of items to appraise at the end of this…and that brings me to another little thing that bugs me— the inventory space. 500 spots becomes a small thing when you have multiple characters you are interested in playing. I dumped a LOT of stuff to take it down to 430 or so, now I’m already back up to about 490-something again, sadly.

haha I have the same problem in Diablo 3… I tend to be a bit of a hoarder in rpgs.

It only applies to evasion invincibility. If it applied to any invincible frames that would be busted and awesome.

Random but I was fighting the demon king in tom and was wearing a pendant with immunity to petrification. However I still was getting petrified by him. What gives?

You sure it doesn’t say reduce petrifiction duration.

And was it equipped? And not broken?

ha, well this is an odd little glitch… I’m still on that long dungeon run from… I think it was Monday or late Sunday that I started… (heh, such is the greatness of portable gaming systems and their ā€œsleepā€ mode)…and today on lunch or break time, once I got to 17 million points, the score just started continually going up, even if I wasn’t doing anything or picking up any coins or items! Currently, I am at about 36 million…haha and it’s still going. This continues stage after stage, after camp/cooking segments, etc. I suppose it might eventually stop at 99,999,999 since that’s all the digits…?

*Visually, there’s 2 flickering stars up by the score…the same thing you see when the little stars come up from killing enemies or picking up coins, if I recall…but these 2 stars are stuck there as the numbers keep rolling.

edit–up to 70 mil now… :stuck_out_tongue: delicious numbers

Yeah this is a known glitch that happens sometimes

Yeah it was equipped and not broken. Granted immunity to petrification. It only happened once so might be a one off deal.

Equipment advice for Amazon? What attributes are the ones I should be looking out for most? And are the various scrolls and rings useful at all in the later parts of the game? I honestly never use any except maybe the Emergency Ring. Anyone who hasn’t added me yet, please do!

Well, glitch over then—it did indeed stop at 99,999,999 points. Or at least…that’s when the numbers stopped; the stars at the top were still flickering like it was trying to add more points. I got quite a few level ups off this… my fighter is now level 135 (and close to 136)…this is from being level 116 or 117 just before this run!

Still on the results screen–it shows EXP Gained = 200,474,752. EXP conversion rate for Infernal = 200%

Its been along time since ive played this game. My PS3 has been dead for awhile but I was playing Dragons Crown the majority of the time on my Vita anyway.

Is there still no voice chat option when playing online or did they patch it to fix that? That was a huge thing that pissed me off when playing on PS3…you kind of need to communicate to survive in this game or else you will get rocked lol.

But yeah, I miss me some Sorceress.

No voice chat unfortunately.

For amazon equipment use stuff that boost the skills you have. Power smash/brutal drive, power of parry, and brandish are the (I think) most common. At least that’s what i’ve been getting lately.

Edit: or I’m an idiot and those are floor rewards in loc. Eh whatever I’ve been up a while playing solo cause internet is down. Not really paying to much attention.

I need that glitch for all my sub 99 characters. I think I might be done with tom unless I see vidness. And as mentioned the game was better when there was no tom, rare to see something added to a game only to lessen the experience.

Ah ok you were trying to add me on PSN. I was like who the hell is this? How you get my GT??? lol.

I’d like to just express my love for Vidness really quick. I have your elf as an npc and I figured out that if I switch her to a certain bag, she will do the runes for an extra life any time she dies and sometimes just in the middle of battle. Very helpful doing LoC runs haha.
