Wow, I got killed 2 or 3 times with yesterday’s games, all one shots. I knew my level now 115 wizard was not that strong, but all one shots on ultimate?
Then after psn got stuck I see vidness got us in room 49000+? Wtf, of course I’m dying being one shotted. My attacks seemed like they were doing no damage, even meteor was doing square damage.
I actually just picked this up. Played last night, got about 1/2 way through the story according to trophies.
I love the gameplay and the artstyle, but I fucking hate the narrator(dude doesn’t shutup, I swear it’s the same dude that narrated Trine) and the in-between levels of running around town handing in quests/getting quests is kind of annoying(especially with that narrator in the background 99% of the time) but other than that, the game’s fun.

Lots of items S tier with many affixes. Haven’t checked them yet though, only appreciated them and bought them. Thanks for the help man, shame in couldn’t be more of help except for drawing attention of enemies and killing the weakest fucks that did seem to take damage from my attacks.

Experience sucks donkey dicks in this game, after I did those levels with you guys (6+ levels on ultimate room 49000+) I went from 114 to 115, lol.
Sheeeit, the level-ups still seem nice to me if you use whatever that prayer (ah, “Trailblazer’s Boon”) is that boosts results score… score affects exp if I recall, so I’ve been using it lately; Fighter is 117 now, and it was actually just a few days ago when he was level 111. I was on a run of dungeons in regular ol’ Infernal today; I forgot how many it was but I was at about 11 million points there before heading back to town. Heh, I should go longer next time… this run only went through 2 bags, and checking things just now, my gear in 8 of the 9 bags is good A or S-rank stuff.
sidenote–I still have 3 last unspent skill-points that I can’t really decide on.
*edit–holy crap this amulet I just got has 2 immunities??? I’ve never seen that before… I’m getting immunity to poison and petrification with this sumbitch… and it’s an A-rank item…
You can turn the narrator off if i remember right. It’s inn the options menu.
Has there been any updates or patches to this game the past year or so? What’s the max level?
I think my amazon was around 80-90 when I stopped playing, maybe I’ll get back into it.
Lvl 255, new difficulty, essentially endless dungeon. Although I hear it actually stops at floor 50,000.

I hope so. I can’t get into the narrative at all, the story is terrible. I haven’t been this annoyed with dialogue in a game since the most recent Star Ocean game.
I changed it a long time ago to the Amazon… her narration is my favorite in the game… I think they had the other character voices as options too, and it was a free download, at least back then when the game was released.
I actually paid the 1,000,000 coins for Amazon’s voice as narrator lol, but it was worth it I love her voice. It’s strong and gruff, yet still somehow has a feminine sound to it. Oh and if anyone wants to play I’m on right now. GT Bigblackraccoon
