Game is super fun without any skills. My friend and I aren’t really into the whole micromanaging equipments and abilities aspect of the game and yet we have a blast just running through the dungeons, doing quests and whatnot. It’s real easy to just pick up and play.
Is there any use to Elemental Lore? It seems like it was op during 1.00. I’m going to make a build around Maintenance, Holdout Dagger, and Backstab. Toxic Bottles and Salamander Oil is cool too, but I’m too lazy to have more than one bag so for me it’s only good for the first dungeon.
I like the elf though not as op as 1.00 dwarf, having multiple options feels like I’m playing more of an arcade game.
Wow I’m pleasantly surprised this thread is still going strong, I haven’t played in months(sorry to anyone who sent me friend requests on PSN, have been having serious connection issues, and also refused to download the AmASSzon nerf patch borne of crybabies)
Iirc from when I played, Ammy can still be used, it’s just the further you go you run into monsters who do ungodly damage(they hit harder than Sinbad the Ghost Pirate and several can do outright one shots). She’s squishy enough as it is so it gets really difficult the further you go.
Special meats are way loaded! Kraken, Dragon, Demon, Killer rabbit are the ones you want…others vary depending if you want att, def, or score. There’s a faq of course…
Got back into the game and got hooked again, dammit.
On the topic of Amazon, you really have to take advantage of her mobility to avoid some of the bigger boss attacks, and for the regular enemies, it pays to learn to block and parry. Upgrade Berserk and Adrenaline like crazy, and then Parry and Brandish since their invincibility is useful. She may be squishy and losing the ax is annoying sometimes, but she’s still my fav class.
