Plowed through the talisman hunt with a bad ass random knight that joined my game.
Avoid all Japanese skeletons. All of them.
Personally, I no longer pick bones up on a whim. From this point on, if I want more NPCs, I’ll save in a different slot, then start an adventure with the explicit purpose of picking up bones, pick up as many non-Japanese bones as I can (which for me is about 1% of them… I seriously get the same 2 bones with Japanese katagana quotes almost all the damn time, it’s only if I’m in a room with three or more bones will I not have these fucking hacked bones show up) and then go to rez. If I picked up a bad bone, I reload the save file from before saving in a different slot (the new save you made will likely auto-save after returning from the dungeon, making sure you get fucked in the ass).
Eh I wouldn’t go that far I got a number of hacked items namely chaos ones before the patch and after the last patch they were regular. Online is alright now haven’t had nay problems you all would probably be safe now I think most of those issues have been addressed. The hacker used the same pick up phrase in japanese. Something to the extent of “do you desire my power” or some such I have picked him up and made him into skeletons to carry my swag around with and no problems he even dropped the same item I got the last time which was a necklace and it was just a regular old warped chaos item.
As far as fights go sorc. is great for the ancient dragon fight and battle arena. I had somewhere around 25 straight wins against pcs we were just smashing, it was thunderdome! The only guy that got me was a dwarf! He got a lucky grab and wiped me and an amazon clean out!

Well he isn’t that tough, but I didn’t expect him when I got to him and I was running one of my throw away average bags, and not my amazing first 4 bags.
I came back with a fucking vengeance though.
Now I have to grind to 99 to use the good items.

Thanks for offering to help, I really appreciate it but I think I’ll keep offline at least until all the quests are finished. Repeated town visits just to accept new quests and reequip/allocate skills really break up the action for me and isn’t something I want to worry about when I play online. Will definitely take you up on that offer as soon I get up to speed tho!
@poon: I didn’t know you were playing. As soon as I get done with Infernal mode…or maybe just all the side quests (regardless, it’ll probably be a while) we should get some games in if you decide to play online in the future.
I have an odd request for one of you.
I need the Amazon’s LoC floor 7 amulet for my other classes, but I don’t want to do that grind to reach that. I’d need someone to go through LoC floor 7 for me up until 7-3, then I’d join them at the end to reap the floor reward.
I know SWBeta would do it, but we can’t connect to each other apparently.
If you can wait a day or two I can try it with you? Won’t be able to get on today and probably not tomorrow either. 
Started up a Sorceress last night. Thank the goddesses for high level NPCs! Such a different play experience with her compared to Amazon. Still gonna focus on Amazon for now though, I need to get the talismans again and try to get the dragon in under 5.
Also, had some hacked bones. I tried the “switch to bag 9” method and it worked fine.
are you guys sure those bones are hacked? i’ve been holding on to one of them since day 1, and picked up another. i thought they were some special shit, but i’m playing right now (vita) and they are just chillen.,.
So I tried maxing a Bomb Satchel, Eagle Dive, Fire Barrel, and Powder Mastery build just to see how strong it was… and the results were as I expected: poor. Not only is Eagle Dive a poor skill because you cannot cancel the animation in any way, but the bombs it drops are pretty weak. In fact, for whatever reason, all of the Dwarf’s bombs he can spawn appear to be much weaker than bombs you find in dungeons. It seems like bombs dropped in dungeons do considerably more damage than the Dwarf’s bombs. On average, a bomb from Bomb Satchel would do something like 20k. Bombs from Eagle Dive did about 5k. I’ve had normal bombs in dungeons do 40-50k and crit for 100k before. Fire Barrel does WORSE damage than bombs if you throw it, but does better damage if it explodes while stationary (i.e. you throw an enemy into it). Sadly the damage if it explodes stationary doesn’t appear to be much better than Bomb Satchel. In short, if you’re going to pick up Tool abilities for the Dwarf, ignore Bomb Satchel and Fire Barrel and just max Magma Infusion and Powder Mastery instead. Eagle Dive is 100% useless so skip that too.
Still don’t know where the hell I’d put points from Lethal Fist into. lolz
Also, apparently items with double stats were not supposed to spawn anymore… and last night I got a Chaos Hammer with double Int on it. 
Stopped posting and have been mostly lurking on srk since I’m mainly a 3d player and my local community moved to Facebook to organize meet ups. That said, of all the forums I frequent this one is the most active when it comes to dragons crown.
I have a level 99 elf and have been grinding through chaos lab and still chain b paths on occasion. My psn is kilikAbeast if anyone wants to add me. I’m a good team player and have a pretty good handle own the game.
Also there has been some confusion about deep pockets respec scenario here. Using the respec potion never gave you back your skill points it remained at whatever level you had it at and the only benefit was that you retained the pre requisite levels for that skill type in order to level up other skills of the same type.
Or delete your game data(not save data, just the game data), respec then update.
Or don’t since like I just said you never got skill points back from using respec potion for deep pockets.
Not getting skill points back is because of the patch. Deleting the game data will remove the patch and allow you to respec. Anyone with PS+ already has the update, since it patches for you automatically, so this is the only option to get it back.

I haven’t used the patch. This is not up for debate. This is not an opinion. I am TELLING you that you never got points back for respec. Deep pockets remained at level 3 with the points you put into it. The benefit was you didn’t have to spend sp on other skills if you didnt want to to get it to level 3 like you likely had to in your first speccing.
