Just soloâd Big Red on hard, so god damn easy when youâre an elf. Just get him to the bottom, as had been said, and shoot the shit out of him. When you run out, evade to him, hit him a couple of times and pick up the arrows he drops. Evade the rocks after his stomp, rinse and repeat. Need to go after that damn ancient dragon now. This is gonna hurt.

I thought that the rising price of prayers was only for continuing after losing all of your lives.
MaybeâŚI remember the narrator specifically mentioning something like that while I was in the temple early in the gameâs story.
Prayer buffs at the temple are always a fixed price; theyâll never increase. Using continues to revive yourself or allies will cost more each time; I found out the hard way one chain run!
I just beat the Ancient Dragon on hard. Is there any way to prevent his heal? That dragged on the fight much longer than it should have. Biggest problem for Dwarf on that fight is not being able to deflect the green shots he shoots at your cover very well. Everything else is pretty easy. Itâs a good thing I maxed Evasion before that fight⌠It came really handy once I couldnât take cover from his full screen fire breath.
Also, maxed out Rock Skin is kinda OP. 50% damage reduction? YES PLS. Combine that with Toughness (mine is only level 3), youâll rarely be knocked out of what youâre doing; itâs like you got super armor!

Heâs definitely there on infernal. I just got done doing a run with a friend of mine and we ran into him. My friend is a fighter though so he just blocked and stunned his ass, made him look pretty free. The real nastiness lies in the Labyrinth of Chaos, but I donât want to spoil the surprise.
On another note; my buddy got some hacked bones, buried them, got a potion with 9999 restocks and sold it for 12 million gold.
GoodâŚit looks like Iâm gonna use prayers buffs more often.
I thought it applied to both prayers at the temple and buying continues.
I plan to make my Dwarf a fucking tank by level 99âŚ
You should be able to max out Power Bomb, Lethal Fists, Grand Smash, Frenzy, Magma Infusion, Powder Mastery, Rock Skin, Toughness, Evasion, and Deep Pockets with a little SP to spare by the time you reach level 99 and completed all side quests. Abilities in bold are mandatory to max, and his other abilities are pretty useless, IMO.

Iâve already fought the elite pirate. He was surprising, but considering it was just a one-on-one fight, it wasnât unmanageable or anything.
Block, Bash, Stun, repeat.
Grand smash should take priority over all other skills for the most part, besides maybe rock skin.
It is the strongest attack in the game put of all of the characters, not counting skill spell book items, like the meteor.
IMO,
Deep pockets doesnât really count because of the glitch, and you donât need to max out evasion, you can handle any situation with only +2 evades.
Everything else is completely right IMO.

Just wondering, if you continue in the middle of a chain run, does it just cost money? Or will your score/exp also be deducted in some way?
Ijust realized that you can have more than one staff equiped with the sorceress. Thats pretty sweet. I have that broad using a bag with 3 staves and 4 spells. I also found out that you can use the d-pad for movement.
Just killed hard mode ancient dragon.
I went in there with some low level bot cannon fodder that died on me a quarter way into the fight.
Nonetheless, I still killed that fucker.

Hmm. I always went in by myself because I knew if they died theyâd be gone permanently. I guess it would not have been a bad idea to do that. Maybe use some Emergency Rings just keep the meat shields up for a little longer.
Got done with another chain. The guys I did it with tried to fuck me over at the camp. Whenever I take the boss meat they would cook something to and put it on my plate so they can try to take the meat for themselves or stir my pot so Iâll have to take it sooner without adding seasoning. Never wanted to punch someone through the internet in my life.
So, finally got around to playing this game. Beautiful art, fun gameplayâŚOnly problem is that Iâm playing local co-op with 4 PEOPLE. Having to wait for everyone to check their damn skills, repair their gearâŚStill the game is awesome. Iâm playing the elf, any tips on what skills to get/avoid?
