Heh, this thread made me want to go back and play some Budokai 3.

I started from Budokai then went into Tenkaichi. I can’t go back not because the game is slower but because QUALITY wise, Budokai seems inferior to me. Some of my friends prefer Budokai 3 because of how the game is i.e. the traditional vs format not the behind view that Tenkaichi has. While other prefer Tenkaichi 3 because in their opinion it’s a better game. As for the ratings, obviously various people did find some level of quality in T3 that puts it above B3. I do play games based on quality. That’s why I’m still playing Tekken 5, Garou, KOF and GG whereas T3 and Narutimate Accel 2 sit in the closet collecting dust. Now what’s really fucked up is that I played Budokai 3 alot more than T1/2/3 combined and I can’t tolerate there gameplay flaws at all now.
WTF. What DBZ game didn’t do that besides Super DBZ? NONE. In every DBZ last gen had some gameplay problem so bad that at some point various people dropped it. I haven’t even PLAYED BL yet and already I’m hearing complaints about how you can still easily teleport out of things and Ki blast are worth crap. This is the SAME problem as before. How may people had a PPPE or a PPKE combo? What? like 80% of the cast? Characters always took precedence of gameplay especially since the DBZ games are made for fans of DBZ.
Umm I never said YOU in particular. I’m not upset either. If anything it seems your the one upset about this. Most of us got the DBZ games because we are fans of DBZ and like FGs. That’s why we continue to play the games despite whatever flaws that’s present.[/details]

Ignoring prison bitch here, anyone got a tier list for this game yet? I wouldn’t think it complex enough to spend weeks on, I’m assuming someone with SSJ in the name are up top.
I doubt any SSJ will be top.
Have you seen Piccolo?
Only played the demo. It seemed a lot like Shin Budokai (a good thing, btw), only a bit more polished.
I’m guessing Piccolo and Cell are top tier again…lol? Has anyone tried Bardock out yet? Is he still DBZ’s juggle king?
I haven’t seen Piccolo for myself, but I always play him, Krillin, and Yamcha religiously.:tup: BT2 Piccolo was sooo fun, dunno where he was in tiers tho.

I’m guessing Broly is gonna be somewhere near top. I hope Bardock isn’t overpowered, I’d feel kinda bad using him along with Goku. Piccolo is fucking god tier, hands down. It’s gonna be SO much fun fighting him.
Super Trunks might be, as well, but he’s gonna be super slow and not able to keep up with Broly. Super Saiyan 2 Gohan MAYBE, but his height might work against him this game.
Goku/Bardock/Gohan are my characters for this game. Maybe 17 since I always use him in whatever.
