Slaythe isnât really sure. He just assumed theyâd be if they were to be in.
He also said the roster likely wonât be much more than 20-24 characters, so them having their own slot would be silly. Maybe as DLC, but not in the base roster. Make that shit a transformation.
You start out as final form lol. Was just thinking trunks will probably be z trunks. Didnât mean to start some random argument. Just stating my predictions, damn lol.
But the thing is, though, having clone characters of the likes of Blue Goku/Vegeta makes sense, since it would be a) an easy way to create a new characters based off of already created assets and b) youâd make sure that Goku and Vegetaâs newest forms, which are the face of current Dragonball media, are readily available. As long as the characters are as different from each other as Sol is to Order Sol, I wouldnât see the problem. Arc is probably one of the better examples when it comes to incorporating clones in fighting games, anyway.
Besides, not having a clone on a roster wouldnât mean that the devs would somehow get more time to work on another unique character, instead. Itâd just be one less addition on the roster, because they likely wouldnât have the time or means to make a brand new character from scratch, anyway.
They are going to be separate characters, that is basically a given. Also, according to the person who leaked the game at gaf a week before the game being announced already said that they were separated characters.
You are better accepting it now than getting mad later
Besides both Goku (specially Goku) and Vegeta have enough stuff to make the completely different characters.
It will be quite idiotic for namco and asw not make them their own characters seeing as the ssjb is the new iconic transformation.
Seeing the amount of detail that they are pouring to the game, i wouldnât be surprised if those are the desings that they use (tbh, i am actually expecting them to do it).
Iâm planning on going to the Anime Expo in like a week. What do you guys think are the chances of them bringing the E3 build of game there? Thereâs usually a lot of game demos at the developer booths. I even remember KOF XIV being there, however that was for a different publisher and it was also coming out the next month.
if iâm not wrong, bandai always used to show its dragon ball stuff at japan expo, so it wouldnât be a surprise if they bring the e3 build to try it.
i just hope theyâll reveal new chars there. sigh.
what if kaioken is a 3-meter super that drains your remaining meter? like you need at least 4-meter or it will instadisappear if you just activate it when having 3. ofc it should give A LOT of frame advantage/speed/damage.
something like Kars in JoJo ASB with his Light Mode, you activate it and your meter starts draining, in exchange for unblockable hits with his blade normals/specials
or maybe drain hp until you deactivate it. so you decide to use it only with certain setups/situations.
