A lot of people seem to misunderstand that SFV popularity (and capcom for the matters) with the tournament scene doesn’t correlate with its health in general and how the game is percieved with the general public.
Which leads to an echo chamber like mentality.
They also seem to fail to understand that stream viewers don’t mean shit if they don’t buy, play and/or participate on the games communities.

If things keep like they are right now, we are going to see another “collapse”, where capcom will withdraw from the fg market and as usual everyone outside will declare the genre “dead”.
MvCI imo is shaping the way for this to happen, since i really doubt that it will recover from the bad press and terrible impression that has made, and outside the shills and enablers it will fail, whatever expectations that disney/marvel and capcom have for that game will be surely not met in the slightless.

Agree if they make swapping characters as possible but they could also go with swapping HP seems interesting or having a super that turns an enemy into a frog.

If you look at the screen shots of the button layout Super Dash and Dragon Rush have specific 2 button inputs (usually 2 specific normals at the same time). So yes, this game can be played on stick with a 6 button layout. I’m not sure what the ideal stick layout would be but we could play around with multiple ideas.
