Dragon Ball FighterZ: Legendary Saiyans Edition

Differentnaproach options isn’t what I was talking about personally. What I was talking about in particular was more active options to STOP people from just approaching Willy nilly. As it is all you really have in this game is your movement, and to attack your opponent first. Makes the game rather dull on a strategic level for me personally. Still fun in a put on a helmet and run at each other kind of way, but that’s about it. I feel like the offense with regards to pressure is in a decent place, just the midrange and fullscreen is sorely lacking.

I agree. I’ve been slowly losing interest in the game because the neutral is rather boring. Not sure what can be done about that though, but I think nerfing homing dash would go a fairly long way to making it more interesting.

Watched Kazunoko play yesterday. He doesn’t level up A.Gohan at all, he stays at level 0 for the EX legs pressure. I remember thinking in similar ways when I tried Gohan, nice to see someone actually do that.

Ehh, I feel if your going in recklessly you’re going to get caught by 2h or a beam/ki blast into vanish.

I do think black, 16 and hit all have really dumb options to get in though

You all know my motto.

You could die tomorrow.

So don’t waste time playing anything that does not bring you maximum enjoyment.

Too many amazing games for you to settle playing anything that does not make your dick rock hard every single time.

That is not throwing shade at this game specifically. I see it all over different forums and the FGC when it comes to many many games. If one game is not your cup of tea, then it’s time to find a flavor you love. Because there is sure as shit alot of tea out there.

I really like watching hookganggods piccolo, but I feel his corner setups will get figured out to where he will only get one real mix up. Delay tech and deflect will help people a lot on that setup

The explosion got nerfed right? I still cant see shit.

On the subject of balance, i want them to fix growhan’s 2L proration becuase he does too much damage. And not let 16 combo into grab or have to choose between oki and damage. to compensate have the grab do significant damage for when you actually land It. 3kish like dragon ruah and CMD grabs

After watching NLBC last night, I am convinced ‘He got a lot of information’ is the FGC equivalent of a mom telling her kid to ‘Do your best’.

When somebody plays a Cell/Goku Black/Vegeta team, wins the first game, loses the second against your 18/Piccolo/Tien and rage quits:

This game has an extraordinary big amount of bitches, but I don’t blame them or their parents. I blame those Japanese fuckheads that, since 2008 insist on the guy getting quit upon not getting any points for some mysterious reason.

If points accrue from ragequitting then people use that to boost. If they don’t then people ragequit.

Solution is to ban rq and / or disconnects from ranked play for a day to a week and if the problem persists then force the person to take longer and longer ranked bans. Other online modes that don’t require rank shouldn’t matter as much, maybe.

The patch is already out on PC.

Problem is, smart sore losers/boosters would just start blocking the connection to their opponents and not the server, which is sadly very easy to do with almost any firewall, even on a console if you route it through your pc. 2004 halo 2 bridging strats.

They could counter that by (temp) banning players with high disconnection rates, or even just displaying those stats to opponents so they could choose to play them or not, but than some amount of unlucky innocent players who get ragequit on a lot will inevitably get caught in the crossfire. I remember when I picked up some blazblue game on ps3, I was destroying people at the early ranks, tons of whom rage quit. I got up to like a 1/3 disconnect rate and hardly anyone would play me anymore.

At the end of the day, I don’t think there is a catch all solution to stop these sort of things in games that rely on p2p connections. Personally I don’t really mind, I don’t care about stats/ranks, and opponent ragequitting feels better than a regular win to be honest.

I only care about rank for 2 reasons. One is real and the other is because of internet era e dick bullshit:

  1. So I can play better opponents if not the highest skill opponents out there (have to rank up to do this, which sucks for various reasons)
  2. E dick bullshit… no one listens to you if your rank is low or you simply don’t play online much cause your connect is shit etc etc

2 doesn’t matter really, but the number 1 reason is a big one. So when people RQ on me it really pisses me off because with limited time to play, if you are running into a bunch of these people it means you aren’t getting credited for wins which means you have to play against substandard players for a lot longer. The ability to play good/better players is literally the only real reason I care about ranked at all tbh and it’s annoying when people waste your time, especially if you have to play them multiple times in a session.

But yeah, there is really no one size fits all solution to that particular problem.

What? Many games can easily spot which side had the disconnect and give a penalty, I can go back as far as T5:DR where I remember my internet dying mid match and I log in again and I lost mad points as well as a rank down. Shit was dope.
I don’t care if I don’t get the win when they RQ coz I can see how that would easily help boosters, but only if there’s penalty on them disconnecting, don’t give me the win idc just give him a loss or a big point penalty for being a bitch.

I noticed more intros and outros for the characters since the update, or I was just unlucky to never hear them until now.

from the dude that made the 7.6k meterless ginyu combo.

Lv1 A.Gohan ToD, 0 meter start, sparkless.

it’s starting…
