Seems like I can actually get the full 9k from beerus’ 2h. Getting the timing down is annoying as hell though lol
Tested this version too. It’s 400-500 damage more than the 2H-version, and significantly harder since you have to time your supers, and looks a lot cooler.
Optimized it to:
5M > 2M > 1S > 5M > 3S SD jMx2 jMx2 jSSS 236S (delay) 236LM Vegeta lv1 jM jM 214M Vegeta lv3 for 7,7k damage. With the right team you can toss in another level 1 before Vegeta and get 8.5k, though that’s usually not necessary to kill considering you’ve likely already put them in the corner with another combo.

Yeah, I don’t see why you’d play Beerus when he just a meh assist at best and on point he has a bunch of Dr.Strange wannabe stuff that can all be blown up with super dash. No reason to respect him.
Black can break 5k no meter was well but that shit is HARD AS FUCK
Because fighting games are about 70% being comfortable with your character. With a licensed product, liking the character plays a huge part of that.
Hopefully they can make playing Beerus vs super dash BS more comfortable in the future. So his balls actually do something scary.

I don’t get the notion that a fireball is useless because it gets blown up by super dash. It’s not like Beerus and Piccolo can’t put a couple of projectiles on screen and 2H your ass.
True this tactic is not a strong option against beam characters, but beams lose to running jumps so there’s always an answer for your answer.
Yea beerus is more about putting out orbs during blockstrings and Oki. I don’t really put out orbs in neutral unless I cover with an assist or am full screen
Beerus’ biggest problem is his normals imo
I thought I was complete trash in this game, having a yellow square for the longest time mostly playing casual matches and losing about 50% of those.
Today I went into ranked and got a 16 game win streak, getting a red square and realize that I’m still shit, but most other people are actually worse, lol.
That square means absolutely jack. I’m still in green, since I actually play against people that are better than me most of the time.
I’m blue square because everyone is better than me.
So I read something recently that I haven’t had time to test yet-
If you hit the opponent’s assist character with sparking blast activation the assist won’t drop out before the end of the combo.
Beerus still isn’t figured out, as it is, his 214 S which is an invincible reversal that hits all the way around him, might be a great option when combined with Vegeta assist to lockdown his opponent ESPECIALLY when he vanish cancels the 214 s on block. Oh and if spaced well he gets a combo off the reversal as well. I’m looking at it as one of his strongest aspects so far… in theory at least.
Unfortunately his 214s isn’t completely invincible until active frames. Also since his reversal can be super dashed through, I assume you could just deflect out of block stun if the beerus tries to vanish
