They already said Goku was modeled to be the everything, easy to pick up and use char. The more complex ones will likely be those on the evil/antihero side of the universe. Frieza looks complex already yet they chose these characters for the demo because they were easier to understand, apparently.

Havenāt really been super āintoā Dragonball Z for years. But then I saw this and it was likeā¦ exactly everything I ever wanted. Just got Guilty Gear Rev 2 and itās pretty much my favorite fighting game everāso glad I get to follow it up next year with this.
I really hope they care not at all about the fact that certain characters are pretty useless in combat. Iām hoping for a really varied roster, and you canāt really do that (in terms of visual design at least) without a lot of the less central characters. Definitely want Bulma and Launch up in here. Obviously theyāre gonna pick the main ācombatā characters to begin with, but I hope they feel free to do really bonkers characters like that robot that befriends Gohan, or the Sabretooth tiger or something. I know Iām getting carried away butā¦ pretty excited.
My greatest wish is that after you beat arcade mode, the screen fades out, gets all scratchy and dated, and the Japanese ending theme plays.
We are not talking about the current Goku, but the more than likely SSJ4 and SSJB additions.

Ha Hit is pretty cool too but I think Goku Black is way more popular. I did say earlier (like a bunch of pages earlier) that I think Hit will be a great addition.
Dragon Ball Super happens with the DB movie battle of the gods, they get to new levels which is the Super Saiyan blue people talk about all the time which is basically a super saiyan but with god power on top of it. I find it pretty bad overall but some characters are cool. Namely Goku Black despite looking and souding kinda stupid with his pink hair is definitly a highlight of the show for me, by far. His arc is actually pretty dope.
The sequel of the dbz series, right after the buu saga, if iām not mistaken. Personally, i consider it a terrible mistake. Seldom have i despised a series that much. In fact, iām having trouble enjoying db/dbz now, because of Super. The vast majority of db fans seems to like itā¦ I donāt get why, but to each their own.
Not all of them like it. Itās 50/50 from what I hear, but yeah, the art and animation coupled with the movies being remade into episodes was and is terrible.
