Coulda fooled me since I seemed to get counter hit for even trying to press a button after blocking it. But then again I’m am playing online with 2-3f delay here…
Which means it’s always +0 online since there’s always at least 2f delay. Lmao.
The other day I played against a Frieza who did his heavy attack while I was blocking. When I went in to punish he beat me out with super dash. Also not a fan of how the tracking makes characters turn 180 degrees in a split second. I think making it cost 1 bar could be an interesting change.
The weirdest thing I’ve seen yet was when I superdashed right when an Adult Gohan did his teleporting overhead special. I started grounded, and superdashed to the top of the screen. Gohan was nowhere to be seen.
Superdashes can be reflected though. People need to use that mechanic. I need to use that mechanic.
Yesterday I enter a “Ring Match First” lobby and I didn’t get that error that say the ring is full, but on the other lobbies I do get it. Not sure if that is a way to get over the error.
I could just go into the game and test…but are you sure reflecting an assist makes you invincible to everything? I think I reflected on wakeup vs kid buu assist and the gohan counter hit me. It might have been at the end of the reflect though.
This is nice but I feel like it’s going to be easy to react to once people know the Trunks match up. You have plenty of time to block it before Yamcha’s assist it looks like. Looks like it could even be reversaled if read.
I doubt it. You also have trunks overhead that he can combo off of to worry about, and throws… that will probably never be “easy” to block unless it’s the only string you are doing.
Trunks is that dude in this game. After 2B5B into follow up, QCB/214 A can give you a mix up if you call an assist before you input it.
Also side note deflect needs better push back window . I’d be fine with button mashers if it is a tad better, maybe expend meter similar to GG if you are in an hour long bnb to give slight push back per hit? I thought blockstrings/pressure in that nature should be earned through practice, not hopelessly pressing 2 buttons? I didnt know pocket fighter players were around in this game
