A person who has been consistently shitty and/or has consistently made shitty decisions for a year does not get absolved of not being shitty when they do something right one or 2 days.

I think that it is dumb as hell to want to limit what characters the players can use for simply dumb reasons.
The only one who managed to kidnap Gohan in the original story was raditz, and even then, Goku did his best to prevent him from doing so
Well, Gohan was the one who absolutely wanted to go there. Plus, no one knew monsters like frieza or vegeta would be there too. It was supposed to be a simple trip to Namek, so obviously Goku was okay with it.
There was no other choice, Gohan was the only one who stood a chance of beating Cell at that time

Hmmā¦ i consider him an okay Saiyan dad. Sure heās far from the best example, and on many occasions his saiyan tendencies caused him to make stupid decisions (like giving Cell a senzu, or destroying the potaras), but as a father iād say he genuinely cares for his family.

Plus Goku didnāt grow up with his parents around and he lost his Grandfather at a very young age. Maybe this can partially explain his detached nature. At least he wasnāt a terrible as that:

Even going by Saiyan standards, Vegeta at least spends time with his family and was there for his kids birth.
Itās also compounded by Gohan having a legitimate father figure in Piccolo, who isā¦just the best.
Goku was of course, detached, but he obviously DOES care, even if his moments are more low-key.
Vegeta, on the other hand, it took a while for him to legit get to better at being a father, but the character development gains in the process shown, he grew into such tremendously.

Iām still not sure what these types of comments mean. DBFZ is way easier of a game to play than Xenoverse, in my honest opinion.
