If there were ANY movie characters to add to the game besides Broly, Metal Cooler (the form of Cooler with the most versatile moveset) and Janemba would be on the top of the list.
I’d prefer Fifth Form Cooler as that’s the form with the most deviation from his brother, but I would totally be down for him calling out Metal Coolers Ultron style with his Fifth Form was the lead!

Plus i have the feeling that team sinergy wouldn’t be as important in this game when compared to vs games simply because most if not all characters seem to be more complete when compared to the mvc chars.
Im not to sure how how much team synergy is going to matter at this point if we are speaking in terms of lock down right now. Because lock down implies blocking, and right now all the moves that seem to lock down better than others actually give the opponent a chance to be invincible.
So on that thought I think it might more so lean towards actually combos being the more important thing. Besides the characters with multi hit normals bypassing normal tag rules which automatically make them better than everyone else. Say for obscure ones give 16 a assist that hits for a long time, long enough for his instant kill super to combo into, while having krillin on the team who apparently in this now “final” build if what they said is true now fills up all your blue health? That might seem like a gimmick to me if it works. But blocking gimmicks/strats. Im not so sure.
Or more specifically the DHC stuff, which certain characters like piccolo, frieza we have seen benefit from this way more easily. Do we know or have we seen what happens to long hitting supers that are DHCed into cinematic supers? After the cutscene plays would something like piccolos hellzone grenade just flash back to being on the screen? Some levels 3s even like the recent buu one were we saw in training mode have HUGE amounts of stun on them after the hit. If for some reason after his he cant combo because what ever property, well if the game flashes back to normal then all of hellzone grenade hits then you combo after level 3 like that potentially even.
Hell actually going back to the beerus stuff from earlier, wtf is he gonna do vs a character like 16? They said there are changes to other cast. But if his hards still blow through all fireballs like nothing… Im actually wondering if you know when it comes down to it, beerus might be a run away character. Just to many options to defend against him if everything holds true. Rather than the balls covering him to get in, I think theoretically they might be better to discourage the opponent from hitting you because you moving forward in the combo against him will hit the balls. Trying to find places to place them slightly behind you all the time while attacking in front of them. And maybe slightly tricky auto combo cross under, some shenanigans here and there. Or hell sacrificing your assists while you run away and try to be annoying. Although I guess potentially if he can rinse repeat fireball normals maybe he has a goku loop in neutral but have to wait till we can confirm that one.
I’m not sure what you mean here. DBFZ movelists as a whole are considerably more limited than they are in MVC3, MVCI or even MVC2.
If anything, team synergy isn’t that important in DBFZ not because everyone is more complete, but because everyone has a very similar use of their buttons and the function of their specials and supers.
