Dragon Ball FighterZ: Legendary Saiyans Edition

I am legit lost about which team I’d run.
Frieza is a cool zoner, Cell got that sick intro, Hit is definitely main material, I like shotos, so Goku is probably a good pick, Teen Gohan got that sick Death Glare Kamehameha and a much needed AA assist for Frieza, 16 dunk combos are amazing…

I might have to pick 3 teams.
Cell/Teen Gohan/Frieza is likely to be one of them, but I’m definitely making a team for Hit and 16. Shame they’d get zoned out too easily, otherwise I’d just use both of them.

Good overseas connections is something not very common in fighting games, unless you have a very good internet. The only two games that I own that allows me to play good matches with people from other countries are Skull Girls and Umineko: Golden Fantasia, and that’s because both have rollback netcode. I’ve heard that Killer Instinct and MKX also have good netcodes (again, rollback netcode).

In Revelator 2 I can play most of my countrymates just fine, but matches with non Brazilians are pratically unplayable. I’m expecting DBFZ to be in the same situation, since they are using delay netcode again for this game.

I think is the KMHMH he shots downwards to the oponent. But i am not 100% sure on that.

Yeah, Skullgirls’ is just amazing. Played a dude in France once and I couldn’t feel a difference from playing offline.

But that’s the thing, in Brazil, PC players are by far the minority. So I’m already working with the smallest playerbase due to the lack of Crossplay.

If I’m going to have to deal with lag every match then I’ll just won’t bother, especially if I have to deal with an army of Team Goku scrubs who are going to just spam homing dash in neutral.
I want to have some good players to have fun playing with, otherwise I’ll never get good.

Are you in Brazil too? Gonna pick this up for what system?

Hit makes me remember of Shin Garuda in SFEX!!

In my experience, ASW netcode with GGXrd and BB is some of the bests.
To give you an example, i can play without a problem with some friends that moved to japan while i am in central america, meanwhile i have a terrible connection with a cousin that lives in the same city when we play SFV.

The thing with netcodes are that you will have a terrible connection regardles if is input delay based or rollback based if the implementation of it them is bad and/or the network infrastructure is lacking and the connections are simply poor.
A netcode being rollback doesn’t make it a magic solution where the lag will not be a problem, despite what some folks around srk will like to tell you.

I’m pretty sure it is. I remember laughing because it was the same thing as Cell’s.

I’m worried about Berrus, he seems like he is going to need alot of help from assists when it comes to his spheres. These spheres seem to be his main draw, from what I’ve seen.

He doesn’t seem like a good anchor and has anyone seen/know what berrus assist is?

He kicks one of his balls.
Starts pretty low to the ground and bounce off it around two character spaces away. Looks like it could OTG.

Nice assist. He also doesn’t look like a meter-hungry character, so he could make for a nice point battery or assist to build meter for the anchor.

I’m surprised no one has datamined this game, yet.

Xrd also had runs in the arcades before home release.

My dude, how the fuck is your signature that long?

IIRC, the rules state they can’t be more than two lines long.

Datamining, from my experience, happens on PC versions of games because it’s easy to do. There hasn’t been a PC version yet.

Clearly you’ve never seen the SFV Story Thread.

And I don’t plan to, either.

lmao at it being 2017 and people still expecting magic netcode

What’s wrong with not giving up on your dreams!?

Cmon ASW, only thing I ask right now are taunts. Let me do this to fuckers mid match:

Yes and none. I already play too many fighters. If you are looking for people to play with, there are some people that are willing to pick this up on Hitconfirm Discord (brazilian) some of them are prety decent at GG, so I believe they will be decent opponents.
