Anyway, a couple of the Mahvel heads Iām close to have given up on MVCI and say that DBFZ is gonna be a real Marvel game. I told one of them I played the beta and thereās not going to be anywhere close to the level of combo movie and griminess that 3 is known for but he goes, āI can show you some sick combos, just let me have the game.ā Everything Iāve seen of this game and how its combos work lead me to believe that this game is going to be a game where neutral and okizeme will decide the winner more than who can do the longest, sickest combo into reset. On other japanese stuff looking at it, apparently gohans level 3 kamehameha it says changes depending on whos on his team. Since I cant see any other reason for him to have this super, ill assume if you have goku, and gotenks(well it sorta countsā¦ goten will probably just show up)on the team as well he does that broly family kamehameha from the movie. I mean logically really why else would he have this? And what else could it be referring to? I dont recall gohan having any legit named kamehameha supers other than the yellow one he did vs buus ball lure wise. Soā¦
For his power up super I guess you can do it as many times as you want, but the last one you did always determines the buff. So if we do a level 4 buff fight for awhile then try to extend the combo with another buff, if we only use a level 1 buff now we only have level 1 version of the power up. Could be interesting depending on just big the start up is, if its invincible whatever. If its fast maybe useful for DHC into so he can then run in combo really fast. Or depending on just how extreme the buff is the more levels you usedā¦
No mention of beat emā super that he usually has, but who knows maybe its in in some manner.
Nothing much interesting noted about gotenks other than indeed you can control the ghosts.
And for buu what I said earlier that the blow up death ball, is actually a cinematic super, you have to hit the yell first to do it, so its not like freezas or anything from a gameplay perspective.
It is one of the possibilities i am expecting.

You know on another note, how is that MVCI had that leak super early on, like someone took a disc at one of the showings of the game and they saw all the characters when they data mined it or??? Iām trying to think of the characters and their unique interactions with each other that would warrant a short cutscene:

Goku: So many to pick from. We know of getting angry if Krillen dies and what looks like launching the Spirit Bomb against Kid Buu.
Vegeta: Blowing up Nappa if he loses is probably the most iconic Vegeta moment that I can think of with the current cast.
K. Gohan: Disintegrating Cell with his KMHMH.
Nappa: Iād imagine he has some special interaction if a Choatzu blows himself up and Nappa survives.
Freeza: Freeze has a lot to go with, but I hope they pick turning Golden against one of the Blues.
Yamcha: Weāve seen Yamchas, and its getting blown up by the Saibaman.
Tien: Tiens best moment and his most iconic is using his Tri Beam against Cell, Iād be suprized if thats not it.
Future Trunks: Murking Freeza seems to be an obvious one.
Krillen: Most of Krillens moment are of him as part of a team. We know he has a special 18 cutscene, wouldnāt be suprised to see some for other characters. Might have Freeza disintegrating him, but I think Goku covers that.
Android 16: I canāt really imagine it being anything other than Cell crushing his head.
Android 18: 18ās best moment is when she breaks Vegetas arm, thats what Iād go with.
Ginyu: Ginyu doesnāt really do that much on his own, so itāll probably be a special interaction with body swap (Goku most likely.)
Cell: The issue with Cell is a lot of his stuff comes from before he goes Perfect. Maybe trying to self destruct against Goku?
A. Gohan: Gohans best moments, and his only really noteworthy ones, is against Super Buu, but hes not in the game. This one has me a bit stumped. Maybe a special cutscene if Freezas henchman kills him with his lazer?
Piccolo: Personally I want him jumping in front of Gohan, but a Light Grenade against Cell is probably likely. Hellzone Grenade on 17 is the other one that makes a lot of sense.
Fat Buu: Turning someone into candy, maybe Gohan?
Kid Buu: Kid Buu beats the hell out of Vegeta, and then dances about him mocking him. Or potentially when he kills everyone on earth.
Gotenks: We already know Gotenks gets a special interaction with his Volley Ball if Piccollo is on the team.
Goku Blue: Some kind of special interaction with Beerus.
Vegeta Blue: Mocking Freeza as hes about to kill him. Extra points if Freeza blows up the planet and Whiz saves everyone.
Hit: Hit āleveling upā against Goku Blue seems the obvious choice here.
Beerus: Kind of outside the box, but I hope itās got to do with Vegeta and cup noodle.

It wasnāt so much talking about Infinite as much as I felt how meta was going to play out in DBFZ based on what weāve seen.

They should just give Goku blue the spirit bomb since he used it against Jiren. No need for base Goku. I donāt wanna have to pay large sum of money to play base Goku, Vegeta(again with minor changes), Zarbon(lol), Bardock(god no) and damn Raditz. I would rather have Ribrianne with her love shaped KI gimmick and bow playstyle.
Nah fuck that. Its silly to focus on canon in a non canon db fighting game. Nappa an absolute must over broly? In what universe? Broly is one of the most popular db characters, not including him in the base roster reeks of incompetence or dlc scumbaggery.
