Frieza isn’t frozen during the teleport. His crouching Heavy hits twice, is really slow and he was in the process of initiating the second hit.

This game is definitely going to have some ‘super’ elements. I could see them bringing in 1 of the female saiyans but I would expect more than 1 or 2 female characters. Looks pretty hype.

If you don’t run Piccolo support after he fathered Gohan and gave that boy a father figure you’re whack as fuck. If you run Vegeta anywhere that isn’t anchor because you gotta work to fight the prince, you’re whack as fuck.

Rather see Kale in this than Broly for now lol. Mainly because we need more females since the only viable female in DBZ atm is 18(Lazuli) and Vados.

The one at 3:56 is also taking place with block pause, which is why it takes so long to transition to the second hit. The one with the teleport however makes no such contact and still barely even makes it to the second swing before the teleport starts, places and attacks (I am aware Golden Frieza seems to attack faster as well). It absolutely is pausing the opponent’s action as if they made contact, which makes me think it’s a form of defense.

I stand by thinking Teleports function similarly to Budokai 3, exclusively because balancing a full screen cross-up that can be done whenever sounds ridiculous. Although I guess Chipp can do it for free, so… but as a universal tool? Sounds broke.

I don’t know what’s wrong with the controls, seems kinda normal to me. If it’s just that they feel placed weirdly, you can most likely change them.

A bit afraid about the part that is cut that says “mash for combos” so I hope I’ll see a movelist soon.
