Dragon Ball FighterZ: Legendary Saiyans Edition

Goku’s level 3 super is already on one of the videos: he turns ssj3 and does some combo. So it doesnt look like has an install.

Game has pushblock playa.

There is indeed some kind of parry which I am pretty confident will be used just like the just block mechanic from GG (block right before the hits rather than always blocking) but that will actually do like FD in GG (push people back more and other stuff).
Might be completly wrong tho, but it seems logical.

I am really waiting for actual footage of people who are not regular press to see if there is some stuff they are still “hiding” or just didn’t feel like showing.

On top of the current build they definitly have other characters ready at the very least. But I am curious on a full move list and the official controls, as well as maaybe the game modes they’ve planned.

I don’t even know who I’d rock as a team for 3v3. DB has a lot of characters I like. I’ll probably just run whoever works best around Vegeta.

Point Vegeta, Krillin (for Senzu bean revive assist), and Hit for Time Stop gimmicks.

Yeah that looks like pushblock exactly.

I’m guessing it’s a super that is more than 3 bars, the max meter goes pretty high. I mean, it’d be weird for Frieza to have gold and for there not to be SSJB or for Goku/Vegeta to not have installs since DBZ is pretty much install the anime.

Nothing stopping separate SSB Goku/Vegeta characters, as much as it might annoy the fanbase.

If by power levels you mean the actual numbers, then yeah they were even shown in the anime/manga to be very unreliable. But if you meant power scaling then they always made sense in the manga (never in the anime at all!), you always knew who was stronger than who, it only got a bit iffy in the Boo arc, and out-right nonsense in the super anime. And yeah, we shouldn’t be taking this into consideration anyway.

The thing about that pushblock was that it was started before blockstun occurred, that changes the mechanic wildly if it’s the only way to pushblock.

Can’t help but notice the opponent freezes during this teleport, which leads me to believe it’s a different form of teleport than one that would be used in neutral. Looks to be the kind you would use in a lot of DBZ games like Budokai III, where you can teleport behind the opponent by spending meter right before an attack would hit you. That teleport too had a canned attack which you direct upward, forward or downward in angle (you could spend additional meter in Budokai III to teleport behind any opponent being knocked away as well, which may be here as well). Though in Budokai III you could guard cancel the canned attack and follow-up with normals. Doubt that’ll exist here.

Seems like a waste since the movies in which he was featured in he became weaker and more of a joke instead of it being the other way around. More fearsome with each movie release.

LSSJ is him at his best.

That’s true, I guess they could go that route.

Hopefully they’ll differentiate Goku’s instantaneous transmission/shunkan idou(it just means teleportation) by giving him more options on where he teleport, or no meter cost, or just have him able to do any normal or special and not a canned attack.

Anyone else sees more BlazBlue in DBFZ than Guilty Gear? Maybe it’s just me.

The way some of them move definitely look like blazblue. Like when goku runs and jumps to block, it reminds me so much of ragna lol. Not to mention goku looks like he has bangs jump b

In reference to what exactly?

Has yet to look this awe-inspiring.

Basically Marvel 3 controls

well, it has 3 attack and one special like BlazBlue. forgot the assist button. How will it be in arcade stick lay-out though?

Fucking BlazeBlur… Having A as a special attack is awkward as fuck. It will probably also fuck everything up if I remap it counterclockwise. Shit! Fuck!! And more fucking auto combo horseshit! Next thing you will tell me there are no quarter circle or half circle motions…

It looks like there’s only one assist button, tho… Weird
