Why does transforming into Mystic Gohan sound an awful lot like what the Kaioken should have been?
Sounds like Tsubaki’s install super where she can do multiple “EX” moves depending on how many stocks you had upon activation.
Too bad for the superior Great Saiyaman but at least now we’re finally out of obvious choices.
The mechanic of getting buffs depending on how much meter you have also sounds like Nova.
I’m not sure if Gohan is who should be tied to that though, as Tien actually does something like this in canon where he gets power-ups in exchange for tapping into his life energy reserves rather than just his ki.
I always loved in Budokai 3 how he did this so nonchalantly.

Now, let’s see if the entire Extreme Butoden roster is in this game (remaining: Beerus, Broly, Bardock, and Raditz) and some surprises with Super characters like Hit and Goku Black.
My hypothesis is that the rest of those empty spaces next to Ginyu are going to be filled out with Mystic Gohan, Gotenks, Kid Buu, and Android 21. Do SSB Goku and Vegeta already have dedicated slots on the page?
… I need some footage of Ultimate Kamehameha. I hope it isn’t a generic beam, but if it’s his Ultimate from BT3 it’ll be hype as fuck.

Could also mean it’s really strong. Unless Ultimate Kamehameha is a beam stronger than Father-Son Kamehameha.
Ultimate Gohan will be a very scary anchor in this game. I expect to see a lot of teams using him.
