My idea disregards the amount of hits the beam does against another, just overall strength of the beam used. So it won’t matter how many hits the beam does, if two of similar strength clash, meter being used during said clash will decide the victor, with additional option of EITHER person spending a bar to Vanish in the midst of the clash should they want to stop it early or if they’re on verge of losing the beam war.
Again, Teen Gohan and Ultimate Gohan are 2 completely different people even gameplay wise.
Moreso if they use ToP Ultimate Gohan in which he’s more ruthless to the point of being somewhat closer to his SSJ2 self except he will end you rather than make you suffer.
I don’t really care about his gameplay, I just think Adult Gohan is boring. If there had to be 2 of him, I’d rather it be any other version of Gohan.
Teen>Kid>Saiyaman>Adult
I’d honestly prefer Saiyaman at this point, just because he isn’t wearing the orange gi. And he might have “justice” themed moves instead of kamehameha/masenko. Or maybe a Videl assist? I dunno.
I like Ultimate Gohan, but the biggest thing is his lack of signature moves. Haven’t kept up with DBS so correct me if I’m wrong.
I’d want Ultimate Gohan simply because I want to see Burst Rush as his Lvl3.

I like ultimate gohan because he was fucking badass during the buu saga, but after that he becomes a complete chump. Vegeta is even more of a family man than he is now. In super I thought they’d bring him back to glory and now he’s struggling with every random dude from other universes when he’s supposed to be like the 3rd or 4th strongest from universe 7.
So I’d very much prefer Saiyaman.
Yeah. I am a fan of Ult Gohan. I remember reading somewhere Toriyama wanted Gohan to be the lead after Cell but his bosses made him bring Goku back. With the way the series was going its kind of believable but I always wondered if that was true.
I’m not a fan of Ultimate Gohan because he’s as close to Goku as you can get, dude has zero unique attacks. He’s also boring from a visual standpoint since he looks like base form but with a white semitransparent aura
Ult Gohan was ultra instinct before Goku was ultra instinct design wise.
What I loved about Ultimate Gohan was that he was a “strong style” fighter in an era where it was increasingly becoming a battle of who had the biggest ki attacks, and if he had to he could launch Kamehamehas and Masenkos if he needed to but preferred beating the tar out of his opponents with physicality.
Adult Gohan is a fine addition, but I hope they come up with a different costume than the orange gi. Love the gi, but we have like four of them already.

Give him the outfit he wore training with the Z Sword
I know it’s not iconic, but they could just have Ultimate Gohan with his Saiyaman costume without the disguise or cape from the tournament until Dabura fights
Of course full Saiyaman would be a better choice for gameplay variety. I wish they could go La Mariposa/Lisa from DOA5 that a costume change her mannerisms(and name) but I know about how the characters are made and stuff.
Just copy paste Elphet and I’m in.
I would settle for the helmetless/partially destroyed Saiyaman outfit too.

I’m a SNK fan and still want Arale in the game, so it’s like a second nature for me.
I don’t see how it’s unrealistic to expect Adult/Ultimate Gohan given how frequently he appears in other games and how he was a major player throughout the Buu saga. Gotenks is probably close to a lock too.
Only disappointment I’m setting myself up for is hoping that Goku Black makes it into the main roster or DLC. I know I’m treading thin ice there.
EDIT: Then again, I thought the same thing about Ginyu with the Ginyu Force as his moveset, but here we are.
