Dragon Ball FighterZ: Legendary Saiyans Edition

Super Dash likely counts as an air action, those are always limited. Marvel gives you three outside of flight. I haven’t seen multiple super dashes in the air but I have seen two dragon rushes.

I think in that vesper video, he said that if you super dash from the ground you could do a second one in the air. If you do one starting in the air then you can only do that one.

HRmm ok so if they are upperbody invincibility, then stuff like vegetas is potentially pretty powerful for what it is, cuz theres been lots of videos of it showing that it goes over lows as well. I wonder if you can reversal with them as well like GG, could be pretty damn powerful for what it is…

As for the universal teleport being harder to combo after then the ex punch, again that seems pretty iffy to me. Because ive seen matchs of people homing dashing after it, so unless theres some big damage or tech buffer to doing that, that is not on the ex punch again its uses seem pretty sketchy besides ill assume its a overhead where as the other is not. Plus I saw a match recently where you can actually just tag after your teleport thing as well for no meter and the guy comboed as well sooooo… ya hopefully this move again has no damage buffer or something to make it more worth while. Cuz even if its harder its like day negative whatever so if people are able to randomly get it mashing I dont see how hard its gonna be in the long run…

Also goku note I havnt seen others mentioned, the IT kamehameha always has a different head animation, making its random use as a “mix up”(and even then thats assuming the super is instant in the first place)pretty null and void. Hopefully they fix that other wise its only point is combos period. And it would be nice if there was some sort of potential trickery to it.

As for the homing dash thing only being able to do twice, once in the ground and once in the air, maybe, cant say for sure just remember when the first bunch of random videos people were posting i saw multiple in a combo but dont recall if they did one on the ground and one in the air. Maybe I can try to find those matchs again…

whatever the case i guess even if we are to assume then we can only homing dash twice, there should be a lot of potential for loopish combos. Again I wonder what the tech, hit , damage buffer are like in the game.

It’s hard to follow up a raw vanish because you can’t cancel it. However, if you cancel into a vanish from a combo then you can cancel that into a homing dash or whatever if I remember correctly.

Basically they don’t want raw teleports being easy damage from what I can tell.

Also, the IT kamehameha is probably meant for punishes and positional purposes and not meant to be a mixup

unfortunately the problem with the idea of it being used as that is, you could always just do the one bar teleport instead, which would be safer and still teleports you behind so the point is somewhat moot there as it would be better to teleport and then combo the guy to build up the bar you just wasted in the first place. And goku can already aim his kamehameha as is in any direction to make sure those potential combos arent missed in the first place.

As for not being able to homing dash after a teleport I havnt seen that in the videos ive seen, and ive seen that you are able to even cancel teleports with a switch to another character with out costing bar so im confused.

You can only homing dash after a vanish used in a combo. Also a super does a lot more damage than just a teleport.

Try to find the vids of people comboing off of teleports, I’m interested to see how people are doing it.

how have you guys not seen these videos? Just search on youtube theres tons of videos of bunch of people mashing the hell out of the game. Dont bother only looking at “good” people playing the game, because one could say no one is “good” at it right now. The game itself is brand new and “different” to say so you can watch button mashers play as well and still potentially learn something. Theres more than just americans playing the game too, id search on youtube for the other anime expos its been shown at as well. Theres seriously a ton of videos of the game from other countries as well.

I’m looking forward to the DBFZ tournament at Evo. I’m more excited about that than any of the main games there.

We’re due, at least, for another character reveal I hope.

I think it depends on what character you think of in GG… Anji has a good one for reversals, as a matter of fact anji even as some glitchs with kara cancling his F+p, that lets his auto do guard cancel attacks at least he did in some versions of the game. I know when I use to post more GG Videos on my channel ive posted about it before. Other characters if we think of again with “normals” being used as reversal, eddie can reversal dust to beat lows, fausts is invincable from frame one I use to see that on and off thats not to obscure to go through fireballs on wake up. So if some go through lows and have upperbody invincibility and you can cancel them that well could deff potentially be powerful for what it is.

Right which if you are supposed to use it for combos, and punishes there should be almost no point in using it over any regular kamehameha since you can already aim in in every direction the other would have hit in the first place. And for punishes you can do the regular teleport for a bar, and then cancel that with a tag, or your own combo to then build up the one bar you used in the first place. So its uses would be better if it actually was a instant super like some supers were back in the original alpha days, the CVS days, where even a character could be a fair distance away and if you werent blocking when they started the super, you get hit.

Hope we get to see Trunk gameplay on EVO, and hopefully a new character reveal to. Picolo probably.

When is DBFZ side tourney? And will it be streamed? Other than that, fuck EVO this year.

I don’t believe a time was announced yet. I know Arturo is supposed to be streaming from the ASW booth, so my guess is he’ll likely be the one streaming the tournament.

Dunno about you but i am actually interested on GGXrdRev2, BBCF, Tekken 7 and Injustice 2 from the main games.
And well, there is also Animevo.
If there is a side tournament of Killer Instinct that would be really cool too, since now that i am finally playing the game, i can understand better what is happening onscreen.
