After jS, air dash down forward, press H to cancel the dash, then trijump once and s.H.
i personally wouldn’t recommend trying it if u just picked up doom or still having trouble with his dashes/trijumps u mess it up and u can/will get punished
Is there any real reason to do that combo? It doesn’t seem to do as much damage as my usual combos
It’s corner to corner, that’s why it’s useful. Being able to identify where you are in relation to the corner to maximize damage is a big part of Doom’s game.
I have a quick question and I apologize if this has been touched upon before but, when I’m on 2p and I do Doom’s new BnB, after I land and tridash forward for the OTG I always get a plasma beam because of this game’s buffering system. is there a trick to executing tridash into standing H so i don’t get his Plasma Beam? I can do this on 1p easily

Got a question that I couldnt’ find the answer too after browsing a bit.
It relates to the Clockw0rk loop.
I cant seem to connect the S in air to drop the opponent to the ground. I see that in the videos Doom is always above the player when he Right H -> S. I cant seem to get above the opponent on a consistent basis. Whats the secret here? Super Jump? Spam M as quickly as possible when jumping? Delay Right H?
Also does the buktooth loop (x2) chain into corner loop (x2) resulting in a x4 loop?
It depends when you are getting the plasma beam. If you are getting it when you try to do the standing H, it means your inputs for your tridash should be cleaned up. Just make sure you do 741 L+H for the dash. You should also let go of the stick (return to neutral) when you press the H. That should help too.
The trick is to wait a split second between the first air m and the 2nd air m.
delay ur M’s and double tap the air dash forward on the way down to normal cancel, itll help u get to the floor quicker

That’s the easiest one for any situation, IMO. There’s little adjustments here and there between people, but that’s generally it.

well, I broke 1m with Doom today using my main Strange/Doom/Strider team. corner, meter gain neutral/slight (I’m not too sure as I wasn’t really paying attention to the meter gain, but I am sure that you end up with more or less the same amount of bar), starts with 1 bar, 2 bars used in total. I’ll edit this post here as soon as my video’s uploaded. I also found out a weird corner starter into footdive loop off a dash canceled Hard Kick.
and btw, it’s not gonna be in the video, but in the corner also you can launch, j.H ~ j.S, st.H and loop that for 3 reps I think at the most. basically you can chain the first hit of butter gun into j.S, land, then relaunch. less damage than footdive loop of course but it’s probably an option in case you screw up your combo.
Question - So I know doom has his Normal Buktooth Loop, or new Clock Work Loop, to work em into corner.
I remember old videos of M&Ms to build meter. Is it useful to j.M c.M c.H S, jMjM ADF, jMjM, Fly, jMjM, ADF, jMjM, ADF, jMjM, ADF,jMjM 6+H, jS, OTG into Sphere/S Air Array?! It’s not as damaging as other combos, but if you’re not efficient at getting them into the corner, I think this is useful just to get em there without worrying about dropping, or making sure to end with Super.
LMK what Ya’lls think. I’m sure there is a better version of this just couldn’t find it.

Nice combo and all, but pretty sure that doesn’t work anymore because of changes to hit stun deterioration, assist deterioration, and changes to air s. Unless I’m missing the point of what your trying to illustrate with this video?
Doom can get his vanilla ender IE st.H~H plasma Beam into spear flame with Nemesis a type assist. After your last rep of whatever loop you’re doing call Nemesis then go into the vanilla ender. It breaks around 869k with 4 reps of the corner loop.
Edit: 869k with rocks into spear flame, 887k with plasma beam into spear flame.
He can still easily get over a million with 1 bar, 1.1 could be a little tricky. You don’t have to use the assists in the vid, it’s just an example and you can mix and match to your heart’s content.
Just off the top of my head, Dorm Black Hole, Jam session, unibeam, Spencer slant shot and armor piercer, Thor Mighty Spark and Mighty Smash still work fine.
The proper air sequences to maximize his damage if you launch them quickly enough in the corner is:
